Don't get me started on this topic. The only thing flowing into Mexico these days is sliver of toxic sludge. Where there once a huge riparian delta, one of the most diverse in the world, is now miles and miles of salt flats from just over the border all the way to San Felipe.

No migratory fish to worry about, no real sediment problems aside from dust. And yet they sit unused because of faggy environmentalists that value chapparal that bursts into flame every year instead of weaning the state off of imported water. But fuck those flyover mayo goblins, that water belongs to California even though it never enters the state through its natural drainage (no, Blythe doesn't count).

If California should ban anything it should be lawns. They're ugly in that climate and waste cubic tons of water.
