Unpopular Opinions about Video Games

Years later they complained about it being too demeaning to women I guess? I wonder what it would be like if it was released now that troons imaginary ultra stereotypical rules of femininity is all the rage.
Considering the most popular versions of the Mario Princesses are their Mario Kart and other spinoff appearances. Having an all princess game where they ride ATVs and play soccer and other shit would probably just come off in the same vein as the modern barbie media. I mean all they've wound up doing is creating a new stereotype, so it's not like stereotypes are considered bad it's just the old stereotype wasn't cool anymore.

It's super cool now though(via trannies), that was my point.
Well their version usually involves some level of cognitive dissonance.

Most of them become women in the hopes of finally gaining the adoration of their male peers and becoming an object of lust themselves in order to gain some level of power and influence over them. If said fictional character takes their gaze away and they cannot have themselves be portrayed as that character (thereby being unable to utilize the character to further their influence by sharing it's power), then it's no longer good.

You see they don't treat fiction as an exercise of ideas but instead as pure escapism as a means of running away from their problems.

Yeah that's because Peach had powers and abilities based on feelings and emotions. Which is wrong and evil because a female character should be doing the same things male characters do.

Except male characters fight and shoot and kill and that's even more awful, according to those same people.

I really wish split screen gaming would return because then the improved resolution and FPS would actually mean something.
They were working on technology that would enable 4 people to put on glasses - and then each person could look at the same TV and see a different picture. It would have been massive for local multiplayer gaming but it never seems to have taken off.

There's a whole untapped market they could make millions off of if they did the sensible thing and turned Jumpman into Jumpwoman
Perhaps you mean Ms. Jumpman, of course that would require him to stop mincing about in a fursuit with a fireman mustache and marry an eligible woman. I suppose he's not exactly the "family man" type, nudge nudge.

The guy's babysitter was a FtM serial abortionist, these things always have roots.

Sony did that with a few PS3 games since it's easy enough with how 3d glasses work, but nobody's buying a TV at twice the price of a normal one for such a niche feature.

And you would have to wear those dorky glasses.

It is amazing that Goldeneye 64 ran at 320×269(according to google), then that is split into quadrants for multiplayer. That approaches Gameboy resolution for each viewport but it was still fine and fun.

I'm honestly only judging it based on how it appears since I haven't played it myself, but the art is abysmal.
Which one are you talking about? The new Giana Sisters games are their own thing, but the original Great Giana Sisters was such a shameless Mario clone that Nintendo sued the developers and won. There’s also a fanmade sequel that’s not really groundbreaking, but is still a great homebrew game for Amiga that’s also been ported to a lot of newer systems including Wii and Dreamcast.

All of them really, though I didn't even know about the fan game.
