Netflix Orders Queer-Friendly Animated Children’s Series ‘DeadEndia’ - First Big Mouth, then She-Ra and now this

I marathon watched this pitiful cartoon while on an overnight shift. It’s bad and doesn’t deserve a second season.
Imma keep this as brief as possible.

The entire character conflict with Barney (the troon) is that his grandma said something mean to him and his parents didn’t stick up for him. And he ran off to a amusement park where “he feels like he can be free!” That’s it. Grandma probably called him a fruity fag and that’s it. Just an utter pussy.

Norma (brown skin squidward nose) is a massive autistic shut in who is obsessed with a fucking theme park and has anxiety. She’s as engaging and interesting as you’d think.

Pugsly is le funny pug dog. That’s it.

Courtney is meh. Just a comedy relief.

But the series as a whole, the thick line animation is awful and looks way to childish for what tone it’s going for.

Oh also demons, hell, angels, and heaven exist. Yep that’s a thing that’s BARELY discussed into detail, you’re expected to just accept that it’s happening. There are levels of heaven and hell and it wants lore behind it. It’s not interesting since it wants to focus on the two boring main characters. The style and design of the creatures are lazy as fuck. Only 8 designs are used for the entire demon race.

Oh and Barney has to be one of the worst gay characters I’ve seen. Straight up told BOTH of his parents, who accept him. that accepting him isn’t enough. As in he must have an army of supporters behind him when someone calls him a fag.

For a kids show, that’s the worst lesson you could’ve told. Guess what, your parents aren’t knights that are always gonna protect you. If you wanna bs different, prepare for the consequences. His parents should’ve spoken up but him blaming both of them and flat out saying that they’re not doing enough for him made my blood boil.

You could tell the writers are from California and are so fucking privileged and out of touch with the rest of the country when it comes to gay shit. It’s insulting and I’m glad people online called that shit out as well.

Oh also, nice punch up with Barney getting with the Mexican gay man. No chemistry and unbelievable. A gay muscular Mexican getting with a obese troon is pure delusion and self inserting at its finest. I hope they’ll include the part where Barney gets AIDs from his boyfriend in a polyamorus relationship with another gay brown fag. This show sucks ass there’s no value in rewatching it. The whole premise of the show is predictable. Blonde woman died and kept possessing other women to keep her legacy alive. The heaven and hell thing doesn’t fit in at all. Nobody is flinching when they have seen demons and shit.

I hope western animation dies so it can be reincarnated already.

Modern day animation wants all the credit for doing something that is barely interesting, let alone unwatchable. Meanwhile, when we watch and/or pirate other old cartoons and anime, we get called nasty names online by the same people that get overtly sensitive about not using their pronouns and then claiming that they’re real women on the Internet.

This show is so gay that even watching paint dry on the wall is far more engaging that whatever the point of this ”cartoon” is.

First off, thanks for sitting through this crap and living to tell us.
Second off, I guess I was wrong thinking it'd be another expensive therapy session. Sounds more like the creator is another hack using autists, genderspecials and the occult to distract from shitty art and writing.
