Super take, not gonna lie. You know Phil is gonna preemptively sort out all the shit that’s in his faggy closet so he can claim poor and use it as a prop to demonstrate that he doesn’t hoard expensive shit anymore but is actually struggling to get by.

These retcons are literally used to reinforce the narrative that Phil is poor and will consistently need your help for the rest of his life. When Phil first moved to Washington, he contacted the local police and let them know that he was an internet personality, and that it was likely that someone would make a false call in an attempt to "swat" him at some point in the future.
I'm not sure what video you're watching, but based on what you posted, it just sound like he worded things poorly which perhaps made it sound like he called them just ahead of that specific incident, which was not the case. I'm fairly certain he's just referring to his preemptive call to the police.
Being that they (supposedly) thanked him for that, and that they didn't send an actual SWAT team to kick down the door, I guess they must've made a note of some sort regarding his call, and acted accordingly. Phil's fairly lucky regarding that, since I'm sure some local police departments would have basically disregarded such a call, which could have led to that "wellness check" or whatever being much more dangerous and/or hilarious.

I'm not sure it works like that. I dont think police departments keep a list of names/addresses that have called ahead to let them know to ignore any potential emergency calls regarding their house for the indefinite future.

Phil just said he called ahead or whatever to try to make himself look smarter than the trolls but it really makes no sense if you think about it- if there really was an emergency and someone took Phil hostage in his own house, would he expect the police to not respond appropriately?

Also it would be easy cover if you really were going to commit a crime if you could just call the police department ahead of time and tell them to ignore emergency calls at the location you're going to. Dsp is just a retard.

Metokur got swatted on his last stream, he said that he had called them and let them know people might be calling in threats about him. According to him here were a ton of cops all armed and armored up but they didn't bust in and search him or anything and the cop thanked him for calling ahead because otherwise it would have been a "different type of response." Definitely depends where you are though. I believe Tim Pool has been swatted multiple times and they make them clear the studio and search them every time.
