Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

A somewhat stupid idea. Two dwarf individuals have a 1/4th chance of producing an embryo with two copies of the gene, which leads to extreme shortening of the limbs and restricted ribcage (aka thanatophoric, tho I believe it depends on the mutations involved for the severity to be that bad).

Most of that quarter will be stillborn, so you're playing with reduced odds which is also stupid for parents to be. I mean, tis what genetic counseling is for so it's up to them if they want to play the odds.

Yeah isn't that what Paisley has?

I'd imagine most couples w/dwarfism, like most people, would abort if they found out the fetus had thanatophoric dwarfism or any other fatal condition. Unfortunately it just got a lot harder for them to do so in much of the US :(

It's not that they gain thanatrophic dwarfism its that they get "double dominat dwarfism" which means they get the genes for both their parents dwarfism. This USUALLY ends in a miscarriage because its not viable with life.

Yeah, I didn't think it was true thanatophoric dwarfism (as the cases we see are recessive or sporadic), but it presents similarly.

I'm generally fine if people pass on disabilities if they're not all that bad like blindness, deafness, being a midget. Whatever, long as you can have a good life.
Achondroplasia, the most common skeletal dysplasia, is caused by a mutation in a gene called FGFR3, which I sperged about here previously. A different mutation in the same gene also causes thanatophoric dysplasia.

Achondroplasia is inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, which means it just takes one mutated copy of FGFR3 to cause characteristic features of the disorder. The offspring of two parents with achondroplasia has a 50% chance of having (heterozygous) achondroplasia, a 25% chance of having two normal FGFR3 genes, and a 25% chance of having two mutated FGFR3 genes. Inheriting two mutated copies of the gene results in a condition called homozygous achondroplasia. Most people with achondroplasia (80%) are born to two normal height parents, though.

(To clarify, homozygous achondroplasia and thanatophoric dysplasia are both lethal skeletal dysplasias caused by a mutation in the FGFR3 gene, but they aren't the same disorder because the specific causative mutation differs.)

Paisley is the tard baby that horrifies me the most out of all of them. I am horrified but I just can’t look away.

I know someone with an actual diagnosed phobia of people with dwarfism. Maybe next time I'm feeling sadistic I'll bust out some Paisley videos.

Honestly, seeing her move, I begin to understand the phobia thing.

Truly. I'm wondering why she's not showing normal pictures where he's not just in competition/showing off his body. Parents usually have birthday or back to school photos, right? I feel like those are far more appropriate to share to your facebook group of strangers. Though, I'm probably giving her too much faith for intelligence.
I don't think I've seen a single picture of Archie with his shirt on.

Been lurking while new registrations were closed but wanted to sperg about poor Archie (newfag + mobile so please forgive formatting errors).

Re: the mark on his forehead that has been there for a while.
It's likely from a transcutaneous CO2 monitor eg.
SmartSelect_20220706-044315_Drive.jpg

These get used a lot in babies/small kids where you want to be able to monitor their CO2 without having to draw blood repeatedly (as you can make a small human anemic quite quickly). They generate a bit of heat to cause the blood vessels in the skin to dilate for a good reading, and it's possible to get injuries from the heat/pressure. This was probably placed when Archie first arrived to ICU.

Also also another user noted, the fact that the team hasn't bothered to switch him to a trache shows that they knew it was futile within the first week.

Totally agree on the flights of fancy - in fact I don't think an autopsy is even remotely on the cards. The medical cause of death is already known & he's had so many MRI scans at this point that there's nothing more that could be learned from a post mortem exam. There will be an inquest to decide if the hanging was suicide or misadventure, which Hollie & others will have to give evidence at but legally there doesn't have to be a PM for an inquest to take place if cause of death is established by medical records

If the UK does post mortems similarly to where I'm from, he will still absolutely be referred to the Coroner as an unexpected death and an external examination (including photos) plus toxicology will be done. Even if a death is obvious (eg. drove a car into pole and the head was found a few feet away), this is still done but you can skip an invasive post mortem because it's obvious HOW they died (no head).
So as for toxicology, could Hollie be trying to delay so something naughty isn't found in his system? Well they can certainly opt to do hair testing if there was a concern.

Also based on experience with another child that went "missing" and had a huge public response of sympathy, only to have the parents arrested a few weeks later for the kid's murder, the Police often know when something is very suss but they can't/won't say anything in order to get more evidence. So they are likely sitting back and waiting for Archie to be officially legally dead (again).

Lastly, it feels telling that Hollie hasn't posted any particularly recent photos of Archie. His hair is quite long now (admittedly he's had 3 months to grow it in ICU), all the photos they are clearly much older. The gymnastics certificates are dated 2018! What's been happening recently for her to not want to take/show photos?

Jahi's family was an absolute nightmare. They were pieces of shit who were assholes to all the staff. They even had a 'wall of shame' where they posted pictures of staff sleeping in Jahi's room, as if they actually had stuff to keep them busy with her corpse.

I remember they were eating chicken and scrimps and other fast food in the waiting room like slobs and complaining that the staff complained. They were just straight up hoodrats. I've seen hoodrats have food delivered to the ER. Pisses me off when they get seen ahead of me. If you're so sick that you need an ER why are you ordering fast food? This was during the initial wave of Covid. They didn't even look remotely ill. And yes they were fat. barely fit in the seats.

Proxy body positivity, since she was no longer looking so hot herself and her older children had grown up and out of manipulable/malleable age range already. Like pageant moms but with gymnastics. Something something something narcs always see their kids as possessions/extensions of themselves.

Poor Archie... Hopefully this is all over long before the appeal 💔

She was living through Archie. There aren't many candid pics of him. It's all this flexing stuff.

It’s very likely that the police will have requested bloods for forensic purposes on admission to hospital, and they will have been done as soon as he was stable enough.

As for the top off thing, it seems to be a martial arts/gymnastics/parkour thing. Even on shit like whatever country’s got talent, any acrobatic or dance group has their tops off.

Saw Hollie saying something about him practicing his flips until his technique was perfect, olympics blah blah blah. Shows how little she actually knows about gymnastics as no way that kid was even on a team, let alone an elite one. He’s that annoying kid at the trampoline park teaching himself “flips” trying to kill himself and others in the process. I bet 2018 and those certificates were the last time he set foot in a gymnastics club. So she’s as deluded there as she is thinking he’s going to recover.

Hollie wants to bring outside people in to do physio and hospital of course is against it at the moment. She also put other pics up to prove he keeps temp and is thriving:

"His back of his ankles has a little tension."

That's rigor mortis, Holly.

The longer this shitshow goes on, the sadder I feel for the poor boy. I'm appalled that the court has allowed his family to appeal, although I suppose they had to so she didn't have another excuse to go reeing to the press about illegal organ harvesting. Between pseudo-lawyer Ella and yummy mummy Hollie, I'm starting to get really fed up of their blatant lies and shallow attempts at misdirection, as well as the morons on Facebook who are feeding into this nonsense. I sincerely hope that the entire family is investigated after Archie's eventual death (although I doubt they will be, given the UK's track history with Social Services and safeguarding failures), because there appears to be more than just the one skeleton in Hollie's closet...

She's freaky looking but knowing she is aware/sentient but just being exploited by her parents for gibs overrides my ability to feel anything other than pity/anger on her behalf.

Ffs they could at least try to grift her that eagle eyes shit people like Globyn waste on potatoes since she's the kind of person it was actually designed for.

Idiots because the first rule of ER is NO FOOD OR DRINK prior to being seen.

Latest court transcript for Hollie vs sanity
  • She was able to appeal on these 6 grounds:
    • Determination of death should have been by criminal standards of proof not civil (This require a more stringent process)
    • Judge was wrong to extend the common law definition of death to include brain stem death.
    • Judge breached their rights under Article 9 by not accommodating the religious/philosophical views of death held by Archie (and his family).
      • "Freedom to manifest one’s religion or beliefs shall be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of public safety, for the protection of public order, health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others"
    • Judge's diagnosis of death was not compliant with "The Code." (Attached the 42 page document used to determine death)
      • Brain Death requires this to be met:
        • Absence of brain stem reflexes
          • The pupils are fixed and do not respond to sharp changes in the intensity of incident light.
          • There is no corneal reflex – care should be taken to avoid damage to the cornea.
          • The oculo-vestibular reflexes are absent.
          • No motor responses within the cranial nerve distribution can be elicited by adequate stimulation of
            any somatic area.
          • There is no cough reflex response to bronchial stimulation by a suction catheter placed down the trachea
to the carina, or gag response to stimulation of theposterior pharynx with a spatula.
          • The process for testing the respiratory response tohypercarbia (apnoea test) should be the last brain-stem
reflex to be tested and should not be performed if any of thepreceding tests confirm the presence of brain-stem reflexes.
    • Judge was wrong to say Archie is dead.
    • Judge did not make determination in Archie's best interests.
  • The appeal was approved with 2 requirements in place regarding Archie's Parents.
    • They could not appeal the judge’s decision to refuse them an ethics expert.
    • They could not call an expert in natural death at the hearing before Hayden J.
  • In the end they seem to agree that Archie is dead, but the appeal is won on a techinicality that the original case should have changed to a best interests not a declration of death hearing.

I’m sure it’s a coincidence that the three photos she chose to prove he’s maintaining his temperature on different days all have the same 7-Up plastic bottle sitting next to the monitor. I’m sure icu leaves fast food garbage laying around the equipment for days on end. God she’s stupid.
Also his hands have a blackish hue.
Let him go.

He’s “definitely put on weight” but weighs 200g less than last week?

Does she understand how basic maths works?

The fluids have nothing to do with it love. He’s losing weight because he’s dead.

Is it just me that hates all this talk of “absorbing” feed? Like it’s some huge positive that he’s eating well or something. Rather than what it is which is managing to get liquid nutrients into a corpse and not have it run straight out the arse.

It’s the way she keeps asking for “more time” but it’s been three months now and nothing’s changed. Is she really prepared to sit in the hospital indefinitely and keep rambling on about how he’s regulating his own BP and whatever else she thinks is proof that he’s doing well, despite not having woken up once since 7th April? It’s now July bro, time to switch the machines off.
