And they tend to be in this weird twilight zone as far as learning disability, where they’re (for lack of a better word) too retarded to hold a normal job, but not retarded enough to get things like consistent special education, constant supervision, housing assistance, and vocational training. Idk if Barb drank while pregnant; Cole Smithey claims she did, but Chris falls into a similar functioning level.

Post Millennial interviewed the guy's uncle and according to him Crimio was a literal basement dweller who rarely came up, put black construction paper on the widows, and would walk around mumbling to himself.

Schizoid personality disorder is pretty different, yes, but vernacularly speaking schizoid is the generic generalized term for an array of disorders that have some features in common. (Like "humanoid.") If we're being precise in our armchairing I'd need to know more about his past couple years to say if I think he's more schizoaffective, schizotypal with comorbidities, still in the schizophreniform phase, or frank schizophrenic. But he appears to have ideas of reference, paranoia, and fixations which can be part of any of those things.

Entirely probable for this kid to have both a full deck of bipolar/schizo genes and perinatal alcohol exposure.

From what we know about the mom, and his number fetish, he might have went there to ask about learning kabbalah. Rabbi probably saw the face tats and told him to fuck off.

Thanks, I hadn't seen it reported anywhere. It's NPR though so I'd like a 2nd source. Given the politics of the area I'm surprised there aren't a ton of photo ops with various politicians holding it up in the air.
