Oh boy, the mother is really something else. Her son just gunned down attendees of a 4th of July parade, killing at least 7 (leaving a 2 year old boy orphaned) and injuring several others. He is now sitting in jail waiting to be put away for the rest of his days to rot in a supermax prison and this woman decides to chimp out on the police because they've sealed her business' mail boxes? People have different ways of dealing with shock and grief but her priorities are fucked.

In this instance, "Sally Port" probably refers to the location in the jail where he is being held for this Zoom session rather than a chosen name. That almost everyone else in the call has their name listed doesn't help, so I can see how someone might jump to the conclusion that he is attempting to identify as a woman.

EDIT: Holy...I hope that this discount, shit tier Joe Rogan lookalike edge lord, Crimo fanboy is trolling and on some kind of watchlist.

I'm a retired gunsmith and I've recovered obliterated serial numbers using the magnetic particle technique. Basically this process only works with ferrous metals, and the serial number had to have been stamped, not etched or rotary engraved.

It involves electrifying the numbered part (frame/receiver) in a specific way that would cause a finely ground iron powder floated on fluid over the spot where the number was stamped to gather over the denser metal caused by the stamping process in the image of the letters and numbers. Snap a series of photos, and there you go.

Sorry for the side track, but what was this service for? If a serial number is legitimately worn (however rare) do you restamp a firearm with the same serial?

I have some cans/receivers with some really shallow engraving and was curious what the remedy would be if they ever got obscured.

Perhaps this would be part of why his father helped him get his hands on multiple firearms after threatening to kill his entire family. He genuinely thought his son was so incompetent that he's effectively harmless. Sadly that didn't appear to be the case and now many lives were cut short or will never be the same because this malformed brain-rotted freak decided it wanted to make a name for itself.
