And i think this comes from a few very specific individuals over the years ie. Planet Jeff and Dasbosschitt. These are guys that phil can point to in his head and say "These guys are successful, they arent furries or pedophiles, they arent mentally retarded or disabled. And they tell me they love my content and that trolls are nudniks" I think he holds onto these sentiments and has used them to delude himself.
