This address has been speculated about before in this thread, and Athens is mine and a few othwr'a guess for his city. He freaks out about anything so I wouldn't put too much stock into his reaction, although I think it is rather likely as a spot.

Could you guys check the McMinn Villa Apartments? It's close to the Athen's Walgreens (a 15 minute walk). There's a Walmart relatively near (7 min drive, 30-50 min walk), a McDonald's too (6-7 min drive, 30 min walk).

The Walgreens receipt was from early November where there isn't even 11 hours of daylight for him to walk from his methhead hovel all the way to Walgreens and back, let alone stop to catch Pokemon. Most of the pictures he takes are in parks or near restaurants, not in the stretch of nothing between Athens and Madisonville (checking Google Street View, it's just farms broken up by some trees and hills).
