The Shinzo Abe assassination was only there for him to go on an unhinged rant about how Hideo Kojima should sue and destroy every nudnik troll who claimed the killer was Kojima, which in turn was used for DarkStasiPhil to bitch about how the internet is too much of a Wild West and how internet crimes should be treated the same way as IRL crimes (CONSEQUENCES. WILL NEVER BE. THE SAME), which was in turn used for a victim segment. Phil was emotional about the whole Kojima slander thing because the same thing happens to him every day!
did Phil ever said what kind of a Pc he wants? A full blown Gaming PC able to play the newest games (you know the ones that chuck on the hardware as his wife chucks on food?) not sure how sophistictaed it is supposed to go but I checked some prices and I saw gaming rigs for 2.500 bucks (keep in mind I often look for Pc's that still have blueray player and also more disk space because modern games clog your disk space fast) Also a top of the line GPU is close to 1.000 bucks currently. And we know Phil only the most expensive shit will do. (you could argue "just buy new parts" but I am not very good with hardware installation so I rather start from scratch)

There's no doubt in my mind DSP was being performative when he said that like he is with everything else, since he seems incapable of caring about anything but himself. That being said it's really not that weird for a normal human being who hasn't become cynical from being terminally online to feel bad when they hear that someone they were aware existed and wasn't an outright monster was murdered. That's just empathy.
You're giving him too much credit. He expects a fan to buy him a new rig and have it shipped directly to his house just like the new laptop. And he expects this ON TOP of the regular tip payments they make for his mortgage and entertainment bills. He should not have to budget a dime for the new pc, or do any research on pc parts, nor have to deal with ordering. It should just show up in time for a clumsy five hour unboxing and setup stream where he complains about having to plug in cables.
