There are some apendicitis scars that are also vertical (although the vast majority are diagonal or horizontal).
I don't think the first two waves of Hololive felt anything different as the company was still pretty small and the talents all were debuting somewhat randomly. The problem came with Gen 3 and Gen 4. Aki explains that since Gen 3, Hololive's popularity was already big and the barrier for entry was high. it also didnt help that the debuts were all somewhat together and each gen started debuting as a group.
Not sure how much of this was pushed by management or how much came from the talent but she seems to be going the Salome route in trying to stick to her lore and her character. Time will only tell if she sticks to it or if its something she will drop after the first week.
I have noticed that the right eye (left one for us) often glitches in Live2D not sure why.
I feel the same way. Pippa often runs polls that end up having twice as many votes as the number of viewers she has on stream in the period of 5-10minutes. I find it hard to believe that while the viewer numbers stay the same, twice as many unique viewers get to come and go in the span of 10 minutes. I have heard people mention that for live viewers if you have AdBlock, the site won't count you (though it counts you later as total view).
The head thing is not an end-all solution to determine if a character is a ロリ or not. That said, anyone, saying that she isn't a ロリ is full of shit.
That was confirmed beyond doubt at least since last December when they really went overboard with the culling (and Japanese side was probably more affected this time so there was more outrage), the only debatable part is how much get's cut since it seems to be less about channel itself but the viewers getting flagged as bots and shadowbanned or something. It's also true that yt is more strict about what they count as views in comparison to twitch, afaik if you mute stream or even if it's not loud enough they stop counting you etc. I guess we have kpop stans to thank for that.
I expect it will ease off at least, see what level plays well when doing various activities and interacting with others. I imagine management will keep an eye on various streams, see what is playing well with the audience, and give advice based on that. I think there was viewers picked up from the ads actually, so I imagine they'll want to do their best to retain them.
The worst of it wasn't even about Shiina, it was about Remilia's literal loli-form.
Just want to point out, Ariga Hitoshi did not do any actual design art for Mega Man (other than two bosses in Mega Man and Bass). He mainly did box art and promotional art. His biggest claim to Mega Man fame are the manga he drew for the series which had some real cool art. He also is known for doing some Pokemon designs and Pokemon card art and the manga for The Big O anime.
We don't even have to do the typical stuff turbo-weebs need to in order to talk about it. Just put Shiina's design next to her IRL peformer. She's basically the exact same body proportions, just on a 30 year old Hag. She's talked at length about this during her time as Shirara. Because she herself is such a petite woman, she feels much more at home having a petite model rather that a booba-bombshell. She's even outright said, "Look I'm not loli. I'm literally just a tiny woman. They unfortunately look the same."
Her feelings are understandable really. Gen 1 had to fight tooth and nail for all the views, subs, and audience they currently have. Gen 2 gets to benefit from everything they've already built.
