I fully believe plinkey is doing the exact same thing but with gambling, the only difference is he is smart enough to throw a few hundred bucks at random goons here and there to keep them quiet and supportive.

Namtab has quickly been making a name for himself as the newest moderator of ADTRW. He dropped a ban+30 on a user who, over a year ago, posted a black-and-white drawing of an anime character's denim-clad butt atop a bicycle seat.
He also gave a weeklong probation to somebody who responded, commenting on the butt.
A QCS thread immediately spawned, growing to over a hundred posts within two hours.
Pontius Pilate reveals that after the whole Jesus thing, he just rubber-stamps new death warrants as soon as they're brought before him, fearing the risk that another mob of bloodthirsty Jews will form outside his palace. The poor fellow is traumatized.
Sentiments quickly begin to turn once it is disclosed that the fictional character owning the bicycle seat ass is 15 years old, and Julius CSAR has been thirsting over 16-year-old anime girls as well.
However, this revelation alarms many goons, who are discovering for the first time that anime is some pretty fucked up shit.
The thread quickly erupts with users calling for all anime to be outlawed. The mob grows so quickly that even the anime avatars feel compelled to join in the chanting.
cinci zoo sniper mentions that the ban+30 was the harshest punishment available, because Jeffrey of YOSPOS is on vacation.
Which leads to a lot of goon chuckling. It's also mentioned that every admin except Fluffdaddy is in fact on vacation.
Some of the posts get pretty spicy. Jeffrey of EPSTEIN should really start bringing these goons into line, once he returns.
Now that the mob is satisfied that the newest execution was justice properly served, they begin calling for another head: That of the goon who originally posted the Made in Abyss thread. The guillotine hungers, but Namtab will not act without at least a quorum of admins present. The mob rumbles in disapproval, and wonders if the guillotine would like to taste Namtab's head in absentia.
And poor Namtab has learned a simple truth about being an SA mod. His only hope now is to try to stage a coup and become admin, by leaking mod forum activity to stir up a troon uprising like Koalas March did. Perhaps he'll even succeed where she failed.

So that idea is a complete non-starter.
I'm going say, I don't think watching or wanting to discus this anime makes you a pedo anymore than watching Saw or Hostel makes you a sadistic serial killer. I "get it" that the fact you have these kids with these cutesy designs are supposed to heighten how disturbing the disturbing content is - I think that's really fucked up and don't know why you would but its drawings and I'm not going to clutch my pearls about it.
But man its also really naive to believe even if the creative team are truly just into body horror and aren't blasting one out every episode to lolis being subjected to field amputations that a significant portion of the viewership isn't watching specifically to see children being tortured. And there is no real reason, other than trying to up that body horror contrast/subvert the standard YA story where instead of going on a magical adventure its into the trenches of WWI, why the characters need to be twelve and couldn't be in like their thirties.
More importantly, from a optics perspective, witch hunts for past transgressions are fucked up and what helldump was for. But dude, SA has a literal convicted pedo on staff until an off-site outted them .There is a history of mods in a non-edgy manner saying AoC needs to be 12. This is not the time to be equivocating.

I remember years ago someone got banned in games because they expressed an opinion on fallout new vegas that they agreed with Cesar's legion philosophy. Which I thought was a retarded reason and I think people might have gotten in trouble for playing undertale the wrong way.
I get the feeling trying to decide if any t of typemedia is pedo bate especially anime is like a trap. Yeah, SA moderation is fucking inconsistent, and people have gotten got for much less.
And sometimes the pedos do out themselves, but again, if you removed every pedo from SA the only person who'd be left on the moderation team would be Vilerat.

In goon fashion, it got emptyquoted like eighty times; an entire page of the thread is just goons who hit quote and then submit. It seems like a good argument to implement stickers on SA, until you consider that if there's one thing that goons are good at, it's abusing the fuck out of any button they're given. Over here, you sometimes have issues where some retard opens up someone's post history to rate "Autistic" on every single post they've ever made; now imagine this being coordinated on a mass scale by a goon discord.

Funny story: according to a goon adjacent discord I'm in, not only did the last adtrw Mod (ibblebibble) post softcore loli (which several admins saw and decided was ok), the guy who just got modded then stepped down defended it.
The person who raised the issue was naturally banned and the information was hastily buried.
They don't even pretend they aren't pedophiles anymore, just hide it. They know as gross as goons are, they'd have wanted more mods banned for posting little girls in swimsuits so they banned the person who told them about it.
E: the admins were senmojo and fluffdaddy I believe.
