Yeah the only real difference is that he's forced to "pace" his spending habits nowadays. He's like a chemical reaction whose limiting reagent is money; he would gladly get rid of a million dollars as fast as possible if he had a million dollars in his account. He was making "fuck you" money back in 2010 and before that, had a good enough credit score to apply for 14 fucking credit cards.I have a feeling that Phil was spending more when he had the credit cards than without. So he could spend however much he needed to get top on a WWE event for instance instead of only having whatever money he made from streaming. Also that as far as we know, he was making more expensive purchases such as the car, condo in CT and flying Kat over from Michigan. Yeah he doordashes everything now, but I can imagine that he was going out to pricey restaurants more frequently on his day offs than he's been able to now.
Imho his YouTube payout being delayed is actually a positive thing for him because he doesn't have to resist the compulsion to spend the money as soon as he gets it every day. He can structure his bill payments around the money that YouTube holds hostage each month.
