Sad to see Sana go. Ultimatly, I think it was a financial decision. Treatment for serious injuries like this isn't cheap, while also limiting the time she can work. We also don't know if other bills need to be payed or if other family members were also injured (if it was, for example, a car accident). So in the end choosing to use the limited available time for the stable and well payed gacha job instead of the fluctating reveneu from holo is the most reasonable decision.

Sana’s graduation isn’t all that surprising but if you’re going to join a very sought after job and then leave not even a year later, why even go the extra mile? She didn’t even try that hard compared to her counterparts in terms of trying to capture a unique audience or a niche. People will probably forget she even was a member in 1-2 months.
Wasn't that around the time Sana was scheduled to get the first shot of the vaccine ? Think she told us she was going on a week long break for it, before her finding out her dog died.
And depending if she had to cross any Australia State borders during that period (second half of 2021) to visit the family, she might have had to quarantine 7-14 days, both ways.
This first break, we can kind of guess. The second break when the members content stopped, not so much.
Most probably she was tried to prepare the Sanalites with the radio silence...which unironically made us support her more with the overwhelming Valentines hashtag.
Graduation was most probably on the table since February / March, but the Sanalites that stayed convinced her to keep trying.

Isn't the scene kinda difficult to break into, too? Apparently, it is pretty unusual for auditions to be held for roles in the professional NA voice acting scene. People are directly contacted for roles rather than audition, so marketing yourself and building-up a resume seems to be the best thing to do.
Final thoughts on Sana after a bit of a break from everything since last night. I think this is really the best for her, reading some comments and others' point of views. Sana has mentioned her eating and sleeping habits before a while back and they were... not great. She apparently often will go for over a day without eating or sleeping to get things done. I can only imagine it has been worse since joining Hololive.
I once said that back injuries are no joke, and it is very doubtful she has really recovered much from it, as back problems can be and usually are permanent and on-going issues. Between Hololive and her art job, both of which would require sitting still or standing in place, it makes sense something would have to give. Her art work is definitely what keeps her afloat, so prioritizing that is definitely a no-brainer.
It sucks, but if she is prioritizing her health, like she seems to be, it is probably for the best.

That's too bad, it would've been a lot of fun had she gone through with it. One of the project managers? for the Just Cause games used to run a channel where he'd play shitty games no one cared about and I enjoyed his content. Some of them even eventually became games NijiEN ended up playing like Human Fall Flat and Gang Beasts.
Completely unrelated but are Niji still doing the thing that gave us Ponto Nei and if so do they have any current people? It seemed like a good concept so I'd hope they'd continue it and other corps maybe adopt something similar.

Oh absolutely. It's incredibly incestuous as well. It's all cliques and circles, and if you're not in one, you're shit out of luck, because nobody will hire you unless someone else vouches for you. Getting into the anime dubbing VA scene or AAA videogames is borderline impossible without nepotism, and even getting into higher profile indie games is very difficult. The people who seem to be breaking the cycle are people who use their talents to make gigantic shitposts on Youtube, like Gianni Matragrano, who did a bunch of literally who-tier shit until his Duke Nukem shitposting got him huge exposure, and now he's in Gensneed Impact, Postal 4, and pretty much every game NewBlood puts out.

You mean Virtual Talent Academy? Yeah, they added a new bigger batch of people (presumably they were happy with the first batch and are going full-force now), and most of the remaining gen 1 students are having their main roster debuts this weekend.
Makes sense. The lease isn't going anywhere. Kson can afford to pay double rent for a year or two but it's a waste.
If not Mikeneko, someone else is probably going to move in.

Is this an issue with Linux or just a result of windows obsession with collecting data on users?

A little of both, but when you create an image in say Photoshop or Gimp it stores some metadata about you. Which is usually just basic stuff. But, when it comes to posting stuff with your phone, which this person apparently did, there is WAY more metadata added.
Don't even get me started on when you take a photo or video with your phone.
Anyway, with that little data that is captured when I create something or edit a video I like to remove it.
