Phil has so few people supporting him that it's not infinite money anymore. He even acknowledged it in his "I need a computer" rant, that if his "fans" paid for his computer that he'd get fewer donations the rest of the streams. Yes, I know this is common sense, but it took Phil years to grasp it.

The diminishing fanbase is affecting day-to-day donations too. He had a marathon on Saturday, did relatively well. But now that eats up money that would have been donated on Sunday and Monday. There's not ANOTHER $400 for Sunday, and another $400 for Monday because there's no one left to donate it. He'll probably do well today with the "day off" beg, but we know where that money is going on Wednesday. But Phil is either in denial or still trying to bully the dents into "crowdfunding" his bullshit, so he rants about slow days and disengaged chat.

I can't believe (well, with him, I am kind of starting to) that he actually contacted certain whales personally and straight up asked them to buy him a new computer. I wouldn't do that with my SO or my family, and this mother fucker does it to strangers. Anyone else would be too ashamed. It's like his ego and his greed are I'm a constant battle. People keep having trouble understanding how beggars work, specially if you're from the first world where there is a sense of shame related to the activity and have never been to a third world country where it is more normalized.

This is it, this is Phil's end game, begging is all he'll ever do until the day he dies, no matter how good or bad any given day is, he will be at it again the next day.

If he were removed from Youtube, he will just go beg somewhere else and do it for as long as he's able. If all the paypigs died today, he will just keep begging until someone else takes their place.

Wait superhound is actually Britbong? Only thing I knew about him was he had some Second Life troll videos they were silly and you always got the feeling he was as tistic as the people he was trolling and never as entertaining as say Daniel, the bad guys or Charlie Witmore.

I can honestly understand not knowing what to do in a game and looking to your chat and getting no help and getting frustrated...
...But vocalizing that fact AND telling your viewers they're pathetic for not helping? What if they just haven't played the game? Are they supposed to look up walkthroughs for you?

It's not the fact that he got stuck (although getting stuck in what is essentially an elongated tutorial is hilarious) but how he handled it. Most people watching a stream are just there to watch, they don't want to chat. You have to think maybe 10% of any given stream is an active chatter, more or less...and many of them might not be well versed on the game. It's happened to others I watch and myself, at which point the best option is to just look up a damn guide to get a better understanding. I cheese bosses all the time but I will try to understand the logic of why the cheese works. Most importantly, the chat is not there for your benefit...but good luck explaining that to him.

are you telling me this 18 year old game isn't a huge stream draw? Paypigs better come up with some big, swollen, engaging superchats for Pacman, DigDug, Qbert, and Pitfall Harry. If you don't we might just have another "corrupt" stream file.

One can stream a game from 30 years ago and make it entertaining. Phil more than likely knows he's a terrible streamer and incredibly unengaging, which is why he relies on new releases. Nobody else does this. Sure, they'll play new releases they're interested in, but they'll just as easily play bullshit jank from itch.io or their favorite games from 15 years ago and can still make it a fun time.
