You know, it didn't have to be this way. Sam isn't some rando character they threw in at the last minute for diversity points. He's been there since The Winter Soldier. He's had plenty of time to be built up as his own character outside his skin color, he's worked with various members of the Avengers, he has a meaningful relationship with the OG Cap. And look at this:

That's all they really needed. Sam is a good man (whatever his skin color), and it should have been left at that. But they really did lean in hard with the political stuff for the Falcon TV show, so they did this to themselves.

I know Sam got the Shield in the comics and that he was a good person, but I also assert that story points lose their meaning when the Doylist reasoning behind the reasoning is blatantly political pandering and a desire to make Cap into an even more aggressive left-wing “patriot” hero.

I hate people like this so much. They're the same ones who get mad if you fight back and stand up for yourself. They enable bad people and make excuses for them. They do this enabling because of ulterior motives like pity, fear, and narcissism. They often have this illusion of grandeur that they're the second coming of Jesus because they spared a bad person from the consequences of their shitty life decisions. They do all this while simultaneously feigning concern about rising crime, violence, and how society has gone to shit. They have no moral high ground whatsoever, yet they insist they're the good guys because they treat bad people like victims.

Meanwhile, this person is certainly living a cozy life and comfortably detached from the vicious cycle they're subjecting others to. I wouldn't be surprised if this same piece of shit opposes gun ownership and wants to defund the cops. They'll complain about vigilantes while turning a blind eye to crime in their neighborhood. The human garbage they defend always seem to get never-ending second chances, but they're sure eager to permanently cancel normal people for wrongthink.

The illogic in this is so infuriating. It's mind-bogglingly absurd too! Sometimes, it almost feels like it would take an act of God to make this shit stop.

It's an abusive tactic designed to prevent rational response. Zen Koans do the same thing for better reasons. It's a lose-lose situation, and the only way out of it is to completely leave the conceptual structure of it.

I've posted about her before in other threads. She's a psychology student, 24 years old, who brags about her years of study and uses the "I've been raped, you can't criticize me" card.

Some people cannot be redeemed. But Jews like her act like "pacifists" while they let said criminals go and destroy lives.
