Someone who was raised in a similar community told me that they have nothing to compare their lives to, just the information leaders give them about how the outside world is so much worse. If they decide to leave the community and see that outsiders are capable of the same or even bigger good deeds, it really throws them for a loop.

I would imagine that Jill wears the most bulletproof, 1980s brand, water resistant products to prevent any smudging. I also assume she doesn't ever wash that war paint off fully, leaving many layers of oil based stage makeup behind.

Do we think Jill skipped the godly wedding ring finger the pulse ox is on, or did she paint it, set off the monitor alarms, piss off the ICU staff, and (fail to) learn a valuable lesson about not fucking with patients in ICU?
