This has literally been consistent in every single fandom she's participated in;
She hated MLP cause it redeemed Starlight Glimmer and some other antagonists
She hated Steven Universe for redeeming more or less every antagonist in the show.
She hates Star Wars for redeeming Kylo Ren ( I could go on a whole tangent about how it's fucking annoying how she propagates this idea that people who fall into fascist beliefs can't come back from it, especially since star wars carries through with having Ben Solo die at the end regardless of his actions)
I've spent time thinking about this and I think some of this comes from the fact that Lily has done a lot of bad shit on the internet, and because of that people steer clear of her because of the reputation she's garnered. She hates this trope because in real life she's unlikely to ever get a "Redemption arc" and she knows it.

Is it "writing fanfiction about her" probably.

Even if it was true for the sake of argument. What baffles me about this is how he does not seem to understand why they got them and why they cannot humor Peet for a day in court? Those characters felt regret and guilt for their actions. They showed that darkness has not fully taken them and can be brought back from the abyss.

Jerry does not feel remorse for his actions, not regret in how it ended. Of anything, he feels satisfaction when people like Lizzy suffer because his moral compass is fucked enough to drink his kool-aid and justify the horrible behaviors he enacts. He cannot be redeemed because he made it impossible to do so. His biggest desire is to address the unanswered issues against his family and finally get back at them.

Peet rather die with a false facade and be hated with blood on his hands than ever show weakness and let go of the past. Pathetic does not come close to what he is.

I wonder if her hatred of redemption is tied in not only to her inability to forgive but her refusal to change. Redemption requires people to recognize their own faults and humble themselves before the people they've wronged. Lily uses guilt as a manipulation tactic to always keep people under control-- she talks about her detractors 'moving goalposts' but she just removes the things entirely after somebody's wronged her and it's impossible to do anything to 'redeem' yourself to her. Additionally she refuses to acknowledge her own wrongdoing, acting only in self-interest without understanding why a stance she held previously is wrong outside of a medley of buzzwords.

Redemption requires self-reflection from the one seeking it and grace from the one giving it, neither of which Lily is capable of, therefore she can't even grasp the concept or has to twist it into, like, "Zuko wasn't redeemed he was just getting out of an abusive situation".

This has a been a point of shameful moralizing in fandoms for a while and the more I think about it the less legitimate the argument is. The whole point of pedophilia is that you're attracted to minors. Like, them physically being children. Like, once they're adults, you're no longer interested. Aging up a character in order to explore more adult stories is literally the opposite of pedophilia because you are explicitly not comfortable with doing that with younger bodies.

To bring it back to Lily specifically, her fixation on legality is probably where this stance comes from. We know she has no trouble with sexualizing young children (Mags knew she was a lesbian when she was three and expresses sexual interest in her mother at the age of seven-- just because she isn't actually having sex doesn't mean she isn't being sexualized here), so to hold the line at the age of consent being 19 and then playing this kind of game is just an appeal to authority so she can arbitrarily accuse other people of pedophilia.

Meanwhile she writes a story where her OC and Rey fantasize about 'exploring their relationship' at a time where they would have been five and thirteen. (Fortunately Lily fixed the age gap so now they're talking about fucking each other when they were five and ten, and that's much better.)
