FirstnameLastname appears to have regged four days ago. I'm not sure what his or her history is, except that FNLN is the one who originally stirred up the drama and keeps posting more of Mittani's DMs, complete with trigger warnings and spoiler tags that I had to go through and uncover.

Also, the Mittani has to be pushing his mid to late 40s now, and he's still single and hasn't transitioned his expertise as a fulltime video game guild leader into a entry level help-desk position yet?

Hey now, don't be so dismissive. I've heard from some sources that the female demographic of EVE's playerbase could be as high as 5%.

As for what The Mittani has been up to, a current source of chuckling is his attempt to open a designer furniture store.

He also had a kickstarter a few years back, trying to publish a sci-fi novel about one of Goonswarm's internet spaceship contests. One of the tiers was to get to party with Mittani on his yacht. The kickstarter failed.

I was in Goonswarm once, and would sometimes lurk in their teamspeak; can't recall the name of the service they were using at the time. I remember one of their fleet commanders, dabigredboat aka DBRB, talking about being at EVE Fanfest in Iceland and engaging in pushy dudebro behavior towards women. At the time, it didn't raise any eyebrows, but I suspect that nowadays he'd get cancelled in a heartbeat for talking about it.

Additionally, someone on Reddit posted a massive callout of Goonswarm leader The Mittani, aka Alex Gianturco. The tl;dr is that somebody on Facebook claims he got excessively handsy with women at some event, and a shitload of comments corroborated that it's a thing he does.

By goon standards, probably. By the rest of the world's standards, based on what I know of women who play EVE, probably what's known as a "brown bag special" at best.
