it's a lot harder in my opinion to track with twitch, or at least in my experience twitch numbers tend to fluctuate in areas like subs and whatnot. Like for example one might say Mousey has seen a ton of growth because she reached the #3 most subbed t witch streamer.
But a reasonable counterpoint to that could be that subathons artificially inflate those sub counts with gifted subs out the ass.
I guess one could go full /#/ and total up donations and the like or track ccv trends but there's not a particularly simple metric to look at like youtube sub counts and a full catalog of video view counts (since vods are temporary on twitch)

Iirc they mostly hit their stride long before they announced being in VShojo - Nyanners, Ironmouse and Mel all got a boost during 2020, when Vtubing was at it's peak popularity

Sure, it's common, but it's not always true. This might be hard to understand if you don't like the genre of "person talking while playing video games" from the beginning, but most of the thread faves do not play up their sexuality or yuribait; we like them because they are actually interesting storytellers and personalities. I know it's probably futile to try to convince you of this, so I won't put any more effort into it. But part of the reason the "no thirstposting" rule exists is that most of the posters here find it really cringey for streamers to overplay their sexuality, for one, but also for people to fall into it and start posting about how sexy an anime girl is. That's why I think the "no thirstposting" rule should stick around; but even if it disappears or fails to be enforced by staff, I still think this community will effectively enforce it ourselves through mockery, and that most effective form of punishment: negative stickers.

I guess, but I think there's a world of difference between just posting swimsuit stuff that's relatively safe for work and 😭-posting or posting flat out softcore porn.

Also the kind of person that posts "Ungh I want to FUCK (vtuber)" or whatever is adding no useful content to the thread, it's just white noise posting. No one wants to hear about how horny someone else is for pixels.

If nothing else, the thirstposting rule keeps this sort of stuff out of the thread.

I don't think she will go that far, she has more to offer than just that and probably knows how these jokes need to be structured to land. She isn't a one joke talent, if she were she wouldn't have achieved half of what she did in the first place, let alone stay afloat. Pippa is bonkers, not stupid. She knows which one of her faces is the most popular, and probably respects the Fishman considering we are talking about a guy who publicly said he likes when his talents go wild but tones it down to keep the business side of things viable. That's something you would also hear from a guy like Yagoo, a level headed businessman, and not some idiot!

If anything, these streams will probably happen on her roommate or some other, smaller venue outside of the big picture. If they don't, I seriously doubt it would be that much of a deal breaker, all things considered!

I dont disagree but i still hope kson got paid a bit for this, though now youtooz is no long about youtubers and seems to do everything from reddit memes to actual pop culture stuff , so they are slightly better funkopops in all ways.

This has actually made me realize i have never heard anyone talk about owning a youtooz, it seems most big youtubers have one but i've never seen one in the wild online, very weird.

Was probably something she agreed to before Vshojo, since it’s under her name and not the company brand.

I’ve seen a couple people have them, but they are a bit rare.
