Still not really sure what peak trans means, but I think my skepticism/disdain was borne from my disgust of male circumcision and plastic surgery in general. When I was a teenager and started thinking about these kinds of topics, I realized male circumcision is medically unnecessary and that it isn't fair to make that decision for a new human, especially when there is a possibility of botching the job. Not to mention the foreskin has a purpose. Through researching botched circumcisions, I found out about Dr. Money and those poor unfortunate twin boys, the Reimers. Not long after, found sexchangeregret.com. Also, I had a preoccupation with researching botched plastic surgery. And I have always had a firm idea in my breast that I would never want to have to rely on medicine forever. Mix all of this together, and transgenderism/transsexualism is the perfect shitstorm. You've got unnecessary body mutilation, medicalization for life. Needless to say, I've not been a fan of the whole thing since the beginning. And more recently, the pronoun thing is idiotic enough, but then the men demolishing women in sports as well as the newspeak ('breastfeeding people' and the like) are new ways to make me never take them seriously.

I always felt uncomfortable about them. I don't want a big hairy guy in a dress invading spaces he doesn't belong. But those big hairy guys keep demanding it, and vehemently so. Even if they look almost female, you still notice they're impostors. Gives me uncanny valley vibes.

I don't consider myself a feminist in any way, but I feel uncomfortable by these creatures invading female spaces and acting all entitled about it, as if their autogynephilia gave them the right to go to female-only spas and enter women's bathrooms. It's creepy, it's predatory, and it's disgusting.

President Biden and His Admiral Have Boarded a Sinking Ship​

Admiral (not a Navy admiral) "Rachel" Levine is a so-called transgender woman, a pediatrician, and now a U.S. asst. secretary for health. Levine has joined President Biden and many others in the LGBT campaign to promote "gender-affirming care" for youths. "There is no argument among medical professionals — pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. — about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care[.]"
Levine's "no argument" assertions are hogwash for many obvious reasons. Here are three.
First, the 2012 Report of the American Psychiatric Association Task Force (Report), at 4, emphasized that there is no consensus regarding treatment of children with GID (now called G.D.), because "opinions vary widely among experts" as to treatments.

Second, the 2012 World Professional Association for Transgender Health Standards of Care asserts that social transition for children, which would include use of opposite-sex bathrooms and participation in opposite-sex sports, "is a controversial issue."
Third, the American College of Pediatricians has concluded: "Ethics alone demands an end to the use of pubertal suppression with GnRH agonists, cross-sex hormones, and sex reassignment surgeries in children and adolescents. The American College of Pediatricians recommends an immediate cessation of these interventions, as well as an end to promoting gender ideology via school curricula and legislative policies."

So much for Levine's nonsense about "no argument." Such assertions can be only explained as willful attempts to persuade uninformed vulnerable children and their parents.
In the same vein, President Biden has climbed on board with the admiral by announcing his social transition proposal that K–12 schools must allow males who claim to be females to access female private spaces, such as showers, bathrooms, and sleeping areas. In addition, schools must require staff to use false and confusing pronouns when referring to so-called transgender people and must allow male staff to dress as women while on the job. Specifically claiming reliance upon reasoning of the Supreme Court in the Bostock Title VII employment case, Biden proposes to accomplish his goals by applying Title IX prohibitions of sex discrimination in education also to sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination.

It appears that Biden did not read the Court's wise warning in the Bostock opinion. The Court warned that it did not purport to address issues such as use of "sex-segregated bathrooms, locker rooms, and dress codes or anything else of the kind," whether under Title VII or any other law. Nonetheless, Biden has cavalierly declared that the reasoning in Bostock applies to the world of K–12 education under Title IX.

This probably plays a part for a big chunk, but you have to remember that most of the most vocal of the troon squad are also living in squalor. Idk, they were previously people who I thought were sort of bizarre and/or gross but I didn't have a reason to care, then the modern trans rights shit came around and it became en vogue at which point they became bizarre and/or gross people who I had a reason to care about.

As you point out you're not a feminist; I get the feeling "peak trans" is a sort of liberal female phenomenon, because a lot of those individuals tend to be more bleeding heart and likely to naturally assume if some demographic claims to be poor and oppressed that they must be innocent and need to be defended. I think this is fair. Most people in this thread seem to be philosophical Liberals (not Demonrats = liberuls) and take the starting position that it isn't hurting them, it may be a fetish or an actual psychological/biological reality, whatever, but they should be tolerated like we tolerate Emos. Then you have the more recent political slant and societal contagion, lots of pushing this stuff on impressionable teens, and the explosion of surgeries and therapies that don't pass the common sense sniff test. Seeing young girls proudly flaunt their breast scars for most people induces the same reaction as Tik Tok activists who look like Satanists saying a fetus is a nice snack- utter disgust and an instant sense that whatever is at play here is wrong and can only be conducted by the mentally unwell and genuine evil-doers.

I've known two minors who transitioned- both between 8 and 12- and the reaction from those who had kids that age was definitely tepid. They played the song and dance for the dotting mothers who wanted a daughter and got two boys, but were quite sincerely worried under the surface. A sense of "if they're eighteen, not my problem" but they worry that their own kids will be influenced and want to undergo it because of the instant praise lavished upon the child and mother. If it's one family on a street of hundreds, I think it would be local news for a month and then just be normal, but for many parents who discover that dozens of children are doing this all at once, it puts out sirens. Back to Emos, no one cares that the weird kid dresses up strange and has scars on their arms, but when everyone at school starts dressing in black and being depressed, it makes you worried.

It has also occurred to me that, like many others in the LGBT community, they try to use it as a substitute for a personality. They aren't trying to cure supposed gender dysphoria so than they can live an otherwise normal life as their preferred gender; they are obsessed with their "trans identity" as an end unto itself.

It wouldn't bother me nearly as much if it were simply "okay, now you're biologically female, and nobody except you, God, and your doctor will ever know otherwise." But that's not how reality works, and it is not how the human race has evolved.
