Have they said what the money is for? If no medical fees, or legal fees, could it be fraudulent? Or is gofundme more you pay you risk they spend the money on online gambling (which some cancer mum did recently, and was convicted I think). But gambling sites are fairly quick to report large spends for investigation, if she spends it on fake gucci and dubai who would know.

I just hope she doesn’t start with the trend of “archie’s law” and start campaigning for “parental rights” etc. Although I think Charlie Gard ‘s parents are already trying that and not getting terribly far,

I honestly wish they would investigate these go fund me's . alfie Evans family managed to get near on quarter of a million through multiple funds and direct payments to their banks. The foundation they were supposed to be setting up with the funds failed to appear and apart from a few £1k bungs to other disabled families for some equipment (families who they were mates with after meeting them at the hospital) nothing else materialised. mind you the family suddenly started appearing in Kurt Geiger shoes, Armani tracksuits, and other designer gear which is pretty impressive on only benefits.

It sounds to me like she hasn't understood, or wants to understand, how an unplanned death would be more chaotic than a planned death even if the process is more or less the same. I really don't know how she's fooled herself into that conclusion as most TV portrayals I can think of show a cardiac arrest as a horrible thing to witness/deal with and a planned death as more peaceful, but then I don't think she's in a rational state of mind in general

Finally. Unfortunately, Archie has long lost his dignity, at this point it's more or less just a formal thing to turn the ventilator off it seems. Hollie inevitably lost her son, doctors and nurses suffered, taxpayers money where spent on nothing but a human-shaped shell and not even his organs will be getting donated now. It just feels like everyone's the loser here, and it sucks.

It probly is to gather the family around and what not to prepare for it. The point of it is that its a planned thing so they do need to give that a few days.

Probably a stupid question, but how does one see this stuff. Lungs are pretty deep within the body, is it from suctioning? It’ll it really is a bacterial infection that is really bad as his body is mounting no immune defense whatsoever. And antibiotics can’t work if there’s no immune system to work with.

I’m glad he is finally going to get some peace.
