General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

As someone who's a massive Holostars fag and has been following them since Suzaku, I am not excited for what Holostars EN has the chances of becoming. I'm a doomer, but they teased this way too fucking soon especially when Uproar JUST finished getting properly situated after debut. The timing is off and considering the possible people who COULD be in this unit, I'm not really excited either. I just really fucking hope that they're not gonna be fujo-pandering fags unlike a certain group.

He's a Towa simp but most of his V-Tuber collabs are with Twitch Indies and NijiEN.

On top of that, he's still actively a member of SCARZ, with Dtto (formerly Qu Qualia) recently joining their brand as a content creator. He would have to retire from the pro scene to have anywhere near the time to be corporate. He also recently forked out a shitload of money on a L2D rig drawn by LAM and enjoys the interactions with Box and Fulgur.

It's too much to throw away for him to feasibly do it.

Koyori is playing the Hololive typing game that Polka was playing a few days ago.

Tamaki will have a talk stream with Laplus and Lui. I can't remember if any member of HoloX has done cross-corpo collabs before this. Lui and IRyS were with Kotone at Sora's birthday live but didn't perform together.

In an hour, Uyu and Rio are doing English-only streams. Unleash the rrats.

I don't see many people shitting on Nijisanji at all and when it happens it seems to be just to piss off Scuttle(In the past, because even that doesn't really happen anymore).

People don't shit on "Vshojo", people shit massively on the members of Vshojo. Theres actually not much talk about the entity itself and no one calls it a shitty workplace or anything like that either.

I can see why someone would think Niji gets shit on here, because it's no secret that many if not most are Holofans here so it may come off as such on the outside looking in. It's not /vt/ levels of living rent free in someone's head though.

This is arguably the most pro-niji part of the English-speaking internet that isn't an explicit niji hugbox. If someone thinks this place is anti-niji then god help them if they ever browse /vt/.

I don't think most regulars here hate any of the big agencies. It's just fun to speculate about their internal drama.

I vastly prefer Niji, but I've never felt targeted or singled out for doing so in these threads.

If anything else, many here have specialised (special needs more like) focuses on certain groups, generations etc. So it helps that I can wait on someone to provide clarity on some nonsense with HoloX or some indie group via Twitch.

Said video was uploaded on HoloStars channel 4 months ago. So, they found these 4 people relatively fast if it is indeed HoloStarsEN.

Now, everyone shut up. I came up with something good. TEMPUS is neither a Japanese nor an English gen. Notice how one of these people has a tail? That is Shien. TEMPUS is some sort of HoloStars RPG with 4 playable characters. We all got bamboozled. No, I will not take meds. Obviously.

Rust is an extremely slow game starting out. The learning curve is so steep that you won't even be considered a baby-tier player until you have around 100 hours. I have slightly over 1000 hours logged (half of them solo and half playing in a trio with friends) and I'm still considered extremely green. The main hurdle starting out is learning where to find resources, how the building interface works, and how to acquire new recipes. Unless you have someone explicitly backseating you, you'll probably spend your first 10 hours stuck in prim trying to figure out how to smelt metal.

You also need a decent number of people and/or the right world size because player interactions are a massive part of the appeal. If they made the world size small and got around the same number of people playing as they had with Ark, it would be alright.
