Based off the voice on their twitch channel I'm assuming that's a true and honest wahmen. If you want my autistic explanation as to how I got to that conclusion here you go:
The first place to check is their social media accounts. A lot of trannies make their toon status their identity so that's usually the first thing to check.

If they're the rare stealth tranny that tries to keep it hidden you have to usually rely on the nuances of their voice unless internet autism detectives can scrape up concrete evidence like what happened with Lily Hops or unless they're doing a shit job at trying to pass with their voice.

Some tranny voices are usually obvious once you know what to look for, particularly caused by what I'm guessing is a form of vocal fry

A couple of examples of distinct but not quite super obvious troon voice:
Voice Quills:

Dakooters:

Some trannies get passable voices through practice or just outright biological luck, or both. When its not obvious like the above examples you have to keep an eye out for signs such as voice cracks, voice breaks, the streamer dropping subtle hints about possibly being a tranny because they get off to the idea of people not knowing and so on.

Lilyhops is a good example of a stealth tranny. Mostly passable voice but with occasional voice cracks and voice breaks, as well as occasional intentional hints they drop about being a tranny I'm too lazy to find the clips for:


With that all being said, Luwi doesn't seem to have any of the distinct "vocal fry" or the typical nuances of a tranny trying to sound like a real wo(man) and her "style" of voice isn't something I think a tranny could adequately pull off.

I haven't watched enough of Luwi to know if they have voice cracks or voice breaks or hint dropping but I'm confident off the voice alone they're more than likely not a tranny.

Honestly, not TOO far removed from a few others she's done, but kinda funny she is moving more towards it. Guessing she started seeing how the more sexual ASMRist(?) are on top of the charts right now.

To be fair, prior to Kobo popping off, it literally was the lowest market next to KR (since may as well pander to CN or JP at that point) and on the holoside, the ID girls were basically nothing comparatively. So people weren't wrong, at the time that there was no potential in the ID market. 1 ID vtuber being in the big leagues (more so than a few popular indies) doesn't change that the market was very, very small compared to EN or JP markets.

i don't think its a good idea for a "male en vtuber" who focused on EN market/audience looking at nijiEN male as guide,because from what i see most of nijiEN fanbase are chinese fujo/asian,not someone like who watch EN youtube. which is why IMO its better for them following kobo/ID 3 that focus on their specific game choice or something like that and just forget the whole "male must collab with female etc" that people keep bitching about and more focus on showing your "strength" like what kobo and kaela did.

I've only watched Noel once I think (don't know why I subbed) and have no interest in generic smut like that. It's retarded how Japanese Vtubers have to walk on eggshells but they tolerate them doing smut on roommate. I guess that's the Japanese "two faces" or "public mask" or whatever they call it. Remi Stream coming up, the Man Hunter Stream last night was pretty fun. She's putting in lot of streams but I still don't understand her sleep schedual. I'm happy to see more normal game streams though and I wish PC management would steer her more to this and leave ASMR/other* for rare treats.
I hate the idea of a streamer suffering for my entertainment. I hope she was just role playing and exaggerating. Even so the performance of a cute/sympathizable character in pain is about the last thing I want to watch. I came in for cute and quirky, not "I burnt my eyes" "I threw up". It's not even a week in yet.

I'm still dying over the fact how we have our own dedicated "Tranny checker" in this thread.

He didn't even sign up for the job, he just earned the title instead. May your services be forever useful in the future, as much as we don't hope to use them though.
