I'm not too familiar with the youtube business model so I was hoping someone could clear this up for me: Does everyone on youtube with a decent amount of subs just start a merch store even though they don't expect many sales?
This type of merch is print-on-demand. There's no investment, the creator just has to upload a JPEG and tell people to go buy it. They get a very small cut of the sale, but it doesn't cost them anything up front. It's an easy way to make a couple bucks, but nobody's really making much money on it unless they're making huge numbers.

I'm not too familiar with the youtube business model so I was hoping someone could clear this up for me: Does everyone on youtube with a decent amount of subs just start a merch store even though they don't expect many sales? I know the big youtubers probably rake in like millions but low to intermediate-level youtubers... is it just like extra cash for them ? I guess the reason I'm asking is this because I don't know why Jagoff has a merch store. Like there is no way he sold anything this year...maybe a relative or some same church-goer bought something but I just don't see any market for the shit he is putting up and I assume you have to invest some money into even having merch designed.

Maybe I'm thinking too much into this and the simple real explanation is that strokebrain works in mysterious and disastrous ways.
I doubt Jack's actually making the merch. He's probably an affiliate of a site that puts pictures on shirts, mugs, etc.

Though I don't doubt he's his own biggest customer and most likely the only person that has bought anything.

ETA since I was Ninja'd - @Phil Ken Sebben, that's not a southern thing. I live in the north and there are definitely divisions between Catholics, Lutherans, Protestants, etc, with each of them believing they are reading the bible the "right" way.

It's only HIS version of BBQ that matters meaning lots of beef. And whenever he discovers a new method of making it does he always say that he's been doing it for the longest time only he's never shown it.
God forbid this moron ever encounters Alabama white sauce barbecue.

Probably close enough to what comes out of the other meat he wants to put in his mouth, too!

"MMMM. IT'S RLY GUD GAIZ."

What fucking company waits 8 months to provide affiliate product? Stop fucking lying Jack, those aren't samples those are things you purchased using your wife's credit cards.
Another example of something being "sent to the show" because he added it to his cart on the website and proceeded through the checkout process with Big T's credit card.
