That's been a big thing in the Indie horror game circle for a while now, sprinkle a few bits of DEEPEST LORE into your game and they eat it up. The thing is most exposure to the game is by people watching the youtubers play through it and not playing it for themselves. Between that and the VHS filter ps1 styled retro horror churned out en masse, indie horror is a mountain of shit to wade through.

No, I'm completely serious. While I appreciate some nice weaponized autism for a good cause, their need to completely rationalize and demystify things completely ruins really awesome concepts that normal people are able to make scarier with their imaginations because there is that element of the unknown. I completely reject any Back Rooms lore that wasn't in the original post. But that Back Rooms series that person made doesn't help, completely ignoring that you need to do the elevator ritual to access them, you can't randomly glitch in and out of them, and adding creatures that didn't need to be there.
I like traumathon but it's clear he cant handle any responsibility that's more than clipping a live stream.
The contrast between this guy and Moth is amusing. Both cover the same type of content yet their approach is worlds apart. While Moth is a disgusting edgelord that wants to make parasocial relationships with his audience while getting off to cp in the name of the CIA, Disturbed Reality just seems like a guy that wants to make videos about fucked up shit with at least some nuanced and respect. Doesn't completely stop him from being a YouTube whore but it's head and shoulders above Moth.
