General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Sooo, you're saying that a large portion of Niji is not LGBT? Because in the past you have said the exact same thing, even going as far as listing their homosexual members.
I have said as much in an objective framing, you are correct.

However all of your posts regarding Niji and VShojo are categorically tribalbait. I fail to understand how a literal who twitter account mentioning something Akira didn't bring up on stream is 'Niji being Niji'.

If you're looking for verification on the contents of the tweet then you could just ask normally and I could confirm it's true that he did say that in his VTA debut.

I've mentioned them like, 3 times ever, and one was an obvious joke post. I also edited a later post (like 30 minutes ago) of a clip where this guy wrote a BL fanfic about a vacuum cleaner and cleaning robot. I don't think scouring his streaming history to verify a twitter post from someone who is an obvious fan of his is necessary. It's not some anti trying to 'get' him, it's a fan posting about what he said, the exact same as I'd get if I asked you.

If it were a twitter post saying, "He's a groomer! He tried soliciting me for virtual sex!", then there would have to be some skepticism and verification involved. But this is not that, and I don't need permission to say the word 'Niji'.

Edit: Heck, and my last post was about Noel being mentally ill. I guess I'm just an anti-corpo tribalist because I have said something negative about all of them.

You fool, now it's gonna happen again.

Do you like it? One simple cute MV with a catchy song.
To produce one single MV like this you have to involve the likes of producers, composers, artists, animators and many more and most of the time the talents bite the bullet and pay out of their own pocket. Here's a clip of Moona talking about it in some capacity. A simple cover song can cost as much as a few thousand dollars, so you can imagine how much it cost creating an original from the scratch. And the monetary return on music video is basically non existence in term of ad revenue.

Nobody expect Noel to do it but she did it anyway for fan service. She talked about it in a recent MH stream about how she'll actually be in the negative with only her HL job, as you called it. Don't just look at the superchat number and think "oh shit these thots has it easy". To put it nicely, she literally whore herself out for your good. To put it bluntly, Hololive is the side income for Noel.

Another prime example is Suou Patra from Honey Strap. SocialBlade estimated her yearly youtube superchat income at around 31 million yen. Last year, her voice pack on dlsite sold for 120 million yen alone. And that's not counting her NSWF account that also doing the same ASMR thing as Noel and selling erotic voice pack. Those are the thing that made bank for these girl, not the revenue from simply being a corporate vtuber.
Hey, look, Hololive's a genuine idol company now. Yagoo's dream has finally been accomplished.

You ignorant savage.
@REGENDarySumanai used to be more active in this thread in the first 2000 pages.
I'm sorry that I haven't read through all 6000+ pages, learned the history of this thread, and study all lore of Vtubing! Will I be forever terminal newfriend? (:_(

BaeRyS tax:
If you're reading this I am totally not a IRyS simp.jpg

Back when I was lurking I thought you were all too hard on Scuttle, but now I see he really is just a professional victim and has dragged me into trying to defend myself for no reason. Call it "Nolan-itis", but people directing their idiocy at me is a pet peeve. So, I mostly make positive posts about IRyS and Mumei, make like 3 throw-away jokes about company stereotypes, and then Scuttle starts sperging at me because I didn't ask his permission to mention Niji.

Stereotypes exist for a reason and are funny. I haven't gone on any moralistic rants, or gotten into any genuine judgments about any individual talents, I've made jokes about stereotypes. You wanna know something else? Black people are good at sports!

Now to drop this stupid subject...Hmmm, Mumei's members only stream where she will finally tell the story of what she did last sunday for an hour is about to happen! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EktCb3gFIpg as a reminder.
