Hasn't Null specifically talked about how he doesn't like the disaffected, too cool for school attitude though? I always got the impression he was specifically trying not to present that attitude the vast majority of the time. Obviously his show is for entertainment, but he has talked about how there are things he cares about and how certain things do affect him. I'm not denying the possibility that they don't like each other, but I get the feeling if Null didn't like Jim he would have just said so when talking about him. But maybe he doesn't want to because people would read way too much into it exactly how he said it, so you could be right.
