What makes China particularly dangerous is that Western leaders, particularly ones who rub elbows with the Davos crowd, see things like seventy-year government issued housing leases and social credit scores as a good thing, and because these policies are implemented by the CCP with no criticism from their constituents (gee, I wonder why), they therefore can and should be implemented in the West as well. While China doesn't have many soft culture exports in a conventionally capitalist sense, what they export are novel ways for Western governments to try and fuck over the people in their home countries.

The Republican Party would have to become Diet Democrat to even have a chance of courting them in elections and anger the core supporters of the party in the process. The alternative is that party embraces nativist populism and goes extremely hard on anti-immigration which would probably burn any bridges to any major Hispanic vote (Tejanos and Cubans would probably love it but Mexicans wouldn't) . Its either those options or do nothing and gradually fade into irrelevance. Ultimately, the fate of American conservatives political future are in the hands of the ancient leadership of the Republican Party who will surely make a decisive action and definitely not do whatever lets them accumulate more wealth.

The problem with your graph is the fact it cuts off at 2018/2019 and doesn't show the effect Trump had. For instance Trump got 38% of the Asian vote, 36% of the hispanic vote and 19% of the black male vote, and gained 5% with black women. Trump received the most minority support of any Republican since Nixon. This minority drift towards the Republican party started under Trump as Trump has started to build the Republican Party into the party of the working class. These trends take time to develop, it just doesn't happen overnight but there are results showing in Texas, Florida, and even California.

This is probably the biggest triumph of Trump and probably one of the big reasons they hate him.
He in half a term demonstrated that the US could not only produce all the oil they needed reliably but make so much they where exporting it, literally destroying any justification for the 20 year war in the middle east and invalidating any struggle for gas on this administration, no wonder they got so traumatized all of the lies they've been making about oil for the last 50 years got undone and proven as lies on only 4 years.

They literally tried that in 2019. Part of the reason the ChiComs are going so hard on nativist shit now is because that campaign backfired hard.

I don't think that Munchie Moms make good warfighters.

The USA is unmatched in cussedness, but Chinese are unrestrained in their cruelty. If war were declared, I don't know who would fight meaner. And war, if it's anything, is a competition of atrocity.

The Saudi oil announcement isn't really that big in terms of the oil aspect. IIRC even The french prez told biden that they are making as much as they can. Also we mainly get our oil from Canada

The funny aspect of all of this is that Biden's main goal was to go to the middle east and ask MSB to increase production. What happened was:


-He went to Israel to say he loves the Israelis, then to the Palestinians to say he loves Palestinians. He mumbles some dumb shit about the holocaust and then tries to relate to the struggles of the Palestinians with his Irish Background.

-Then he goes to Saudi Arabia, ask for them to increase oil production, and then confronts them about the journalist they killed.
-MSB literally smirks about the killing
-The Sauds tell him no to the oil production
-The Journalists lawyer "by a complete coincidence" is now getting detained.

It just shows EVERYONES attitude with Biden. This bumbling old man who is GONNA fuck up something in his speech (end quote, repeat the line). No one respects him, just some old fart on deaths door. Biden accomplished nothing, just made himself look silly.

This whole oil thing also is just his own democratic base prioritizing "green energy" by closing refineries in the US and demanding other countries to make oil (which literally does jack shit for the fucking planet since the oil's still getting made, just not in our backyard). Biden doesn't have the balls to tell the super left to fuck off with muh elctric cars.
