After having weeks of “different levels of discussions” about pc components, you just know he will fuck something up, something will not work, there will be complaining and “I did nothing wrong”.

This guy is incapable of anything, literally everything he touches turns to shit.

Most people save up, work hard to buy property, rent it out, buy another one, climb the ladder etc. This guy literally let his property collect dust for years, all while paying all of its fees and buying another one and furnishing it on credit.

I also find him driving everywhere, “to the Mac Donald’s 5 away from me” so amusing.

So this whole lag thing reminded me of something.

2 years ago I moved and bought a new TV for the living room. I went with a 4K Xiaomi Android TV which was an insane value at the time, but it has a catch: terrible response time for gaming. If you disable all the bells and whistles it gets better, but it doesn't get good.
I don't use it for gaming, so I didn't care.

Do we know what TV he plays on?

What is truly incredible about Phil in this situation is he speaks so much about how he's not a tech guy and hasn't built a PC in literally 10 years (obviously baiting someone to buy a PC for him) but then he will turn around in the same breath and berrate people trying to give him suggestions to fix his current machine and call them piece of shit know-it-alls.

The cognitive dissonance is unbelievable. it's hard to tell if it's deliberate or if his ego is just that fragile he goes ballistic when people try to help him because he thinks he knows best.

I get the feeling fatfaggot would get a pre built computer and not take the protective packaging inside of the computer out before he turns it on.

Dood they didn't tell me they had packaging in the computer as he ignores the giant window on the side of the thing.

Fuck you Phil and have fun with that new computer when you get it, I'm sure you will use all the features of the it and look after it.

Dusting and cleaning things is for sissys

It's kinda fucking stupid he still prefers to play on consoles at all; the TV monitor response speed issue is just one of many downsides to console gaming. This is his "job" and he doesn't have any desire to switch to the most optimal platform - the one with the most games, the best control options, the best performance, the best integration of streaming software/hardware, etc. Consoles are for casual gamers, not professional streamers.

Enjoy your WingsofRedemption IQ buddy, LMFAO
Got excited there for a minute thinking he'd actually be playing a Siren game, because the games are notoriously hard and involve a fuckton of trial & error.

He played it for an entire 8 minutes and half of that time was spent making goofy faces at the sight-jacking tutorial. Never change Dave.

At least it provides warning and entertainment as a literal TIHYD, for lifestyle and gaming overall, if he does nothing wrong and everything correct, where is the money going?

He plays WWE Champions correct and does the Tahxes wrong d00d itz taht simples!

Also in general speak towards his PC, absolute lies he has for "building them" as he refused Rich's PC too, true to lolcow status as described on here

"True Lolcows reject advice"

Phil is that case where he wants everyone to pay for him, he has placed himself by spending way above his income, taking out credit on investment that has no return due to risk based tactics, and being unable to pay it off as well as being fiscally responsible with finances

Your post about letting a property collect dust is 💯 spot on, he can't be bothered to fix it

"let everyone else do the work while I can beg to pay off debts at minimum effort tuhuh"

Level 1 prepayment plans too, that's a knee slapper alright, paying that little bit extra just because it's st00pid is asking for him to be in debt after he's dead too

Lots add on but I don't want to make an excellent wall of autism words too

"But tihpping mee helps mee regardless mmkay snorght"

Ok there's idiots in the chat saying *retard voice* "Oh! Doesn't Phil know that PC is the best gaming platform? It has the best performance, best graphics, best this and that and neh neh neh neh neh!"

Wrong! First of all unlike a khansole you can't hook up a PC to a big screen TV, right? Best thing you can do is hooking them up to some tiny monitor that has to fit on top of a desk! So what good are better graphics (which is false by the way) if you can't even see them when you're hunched over your PC sitting at a desk like some fucking nerd ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK! Second of all, better performance? But I gotta go in the ahptions menu to get the best performance and waste my time doing nerd shit rather than playing games. When I play a game, right? I don't wanna feel like I'm at my jahb, okay? I just wanna be:
  1. Sitting here
  2. Playing games
  3. Having fun
Third of all, the most games. First of all that's 100% absolutely pahsitively logically metaphysically incorrect and false, okay? Khansoles are where all the exclusives are! Tell me one game that's exclusive on PC. Immediately an idiot... *retard voice* "What about Age of Empires 2? A new expansion just came out!" Okay kid, go back to your room and study more for your history test ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK who cares about Age of Empires 2, right? Who cares about some nerd game about history. That shit is in the past! As a species us HYOOMAZ have evAHLved! We have changed! We machoored!

this just isnt true, theres plenty of "professional streamers" who play a lot of console games. Hell theres streamers who play mostly nintendo games and those are all obviously console exculsive, plus all the big triple A games that are usually tied to a console, like god of war 4, that spider man game, ghost of tsushima, final fantasy 7R, plus there are times where pc ports are pretty poor, Arkham knight was a mess and I think some square enix ports recently have been fucked for a few months

Obviously him basically refusing to play anything, especially older games, on his PC is absurdly stupid, but lets not pretend like other people who do this for a living dont play a decent chunk of consoe games

How many exclusive, modern console gaming streamers are there? Playing Halo 3 on Xbox 360 because Micro$oft refused to make a PC port is distinct from choosing to play primarily or exclusively on consoles because you just really like consoles for some odd reason. They're using a console in spite of the fact that they would prefer to play on PC because it's the only way they can access the game.

i couldnt tell you since im not very deep in streamer culture, but I also never said there were any, so idk why you're asking that. Its silly to make a distinction between "casual gamers" and Professional streamers" in the first place because most professional streamers are casual as hell, most streamers just play a game on release to experince it and move on to the next.

hell when the ps5 came out plenty of streamers wanted it day one, the idea that consoles are not for prefessional streamers is pretty silly

It really isn't as big of a deal as you make it out to be, most big releases nowadays are either console exclusive or multi-plat.

Dave could have the strongest PC on the market and absolutely nothing would improve in regards to his streams.

Any expense made to Phil is never going to improve his streams. He knows this, and the only reason he keeps bombarding his fans with this lie is because they're retarded enough to believe it. The PC is a personal expense and he knows it, but if he pushes it as something that will "improve his streams", he can claim it as a tax write off.

The green screen, the PS5, the first PC, all that was going to "improve" Phil's streams, but of course it didn't. He has no intention of doing so. Improving his streams would require effort on his end, and if he has to actually work for his bread, then he ain't doing it. Wow, dood!

In the course of 5 seconds, he goes from "I *did* run" to "it's a powerwalk" to "it's a light jog".

Also, "hitting the wall" isn't just "I got tired and couldnt powerwalk anymore" as he's using it. It refers to that point in a real workout, where sheer willpower will not carry you forward. Like when you're lifting weights, and you're putting every ounce of strength into it, and your muscles have no more to "give", or when you're playing a sport and you're just completely fatigued to the point you can't chase the ball or anything.

Lastly, I notice he's been saying he drinks coffee after his "workout"? A black coffee for energy? I find this to be a red flag, because if he was actually working out that would actually tap into stored energy in his body, it would release it, and he would be more alert. He wouldn't need a coffee to stay awake for these "chill" streams.

Your 'career' hit the wall awhile ago Phail.
The Workout Arc is going to be an interesting side-plot to follow going forward.

If he's just outright lying
He is. The distance changes every single time he tells the tale.

Game gets a LIMB. lmao.
He wants to start a new playthrough tomorrow of Super mario bros 2.
Otherwise known as Dookie, Dookie, Penis in Renton WA.
I still find it funny that someone who used to brag about "building PC's for a living" back in the day not only needs his paypigs to buy the computer for him, but they also need to tell him what parts he needs in order to build it.

It's almost like he never built PCs to begin with....
What's odd is he keeps forgetting his previous lies or outright just does not care that he did.

While the "discuss one component of a new computer each day" thing is prime 'tism, I think Phil has a few reasons for doing it:

1) Stretches out the endless "podcast" still further so he doesn't have to play games.
2) By discussing it for so long, it shows what a HUGE project it is and how REALLY needs YOUR help so WE can have a new computer. So he gets more money.
3) Gets to tell people they're stupid shitbags and/or trolls for suggesting something other than the thing he's already set his mind on doing, which is spending $3000 of someone else's money on a computer. And other than playing Champions and drinking gin, telling people they're stupid is Phil's favorite thing to do.

Most professional streamers are not casual in the sense that gaming is something they do a few days a week, or a couple hours a day. Idgaf if they spend 2 hours on a new release and then drop it - the fact of the matter is that they're spending hours upon hours each day playing something on some platform and it makes no sense to choose a console as your go-to when there are clear advantages to using a PC if this is what you're going to be doing for 6+ hours a day.
