General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I suppose if your only exposure to IVs is film and movies, not realizing that it’s actually a long ass needle in a major artery is somewhat understandable.

Fucking hell, that must have hurt like crazy, though.

The needle doesn't actually stay in the vein (sticking arteries is done only rarely and for more specific applications, hence intravenous = IV), but you still have a length of plastic tubing that was inserted using the needle. So while there's nothing pointy inside you anymore, it's still more than enough to be very uncomfortable when janked out.

Definite chad smoothbrain move at any rate. Usually done by patients with dementia who aren't really aware of where they are, what's going on, and what that weird thing is doing with their arm.

How old is the alien again..?

She's 32.

I can't imagine ripping out an IV line like that. I have scars from when medical noobs fucked up the insertion of an IV catheter once, holy shit, the pain. Why didn't she just wait for a nurse? Too impatient to be discharged? Jesus, I hope the woman learns an important lesson from this.

The moral is: don't pull out, I guess

I haven't even listened to Pippa's song yet because there was so much other stuff to watch tonight and now it's 6 am, but I kinda wonder when it was recorded. Because even in the short time I have been paying attention to her, she has gotten a lot better at singing in a really short amount of time. So if it were recorded earlier, she may have been less skilled/confident during recording.
She had mentioned that it had been in the works for awhile now. I wanna say she mentioned it back in February but I might be wrong. Judging on the issues Fishman had with getting gentoo out I think part of the problem might of getting the art finished.

Dis bunny
This is the original song she's been teasing for months and she released it under a troll title and thumbnail. I kneel.

More work for reNPC
The lyrics hit me hard, especially with me being able to relate to Pippa's menhera struggles. Basically, Fishman/Phase Connect as well as the Capippalists saved this hopeless doomer yabbit's life by giving her a medium where she can express herself (fuck that art teacher) and turning her into an Idol.
Man, I wish I had a Fishman as well.

Me reaterd. Prism owned by sony, do they face the same complications everyone else faces when covering songs and whatnot, or do they have atleast some leniency when it comes to the sony owned music like MJ or Prince?

Most IVs actually don't have a needle in them when they are in you, the needle is removed after it is initially inserted and what's left inside is a tiny tube made of some medically friendly material. Still absolutely idiotic to ever yank one out. I think she got it confused with an EKG, which is what people are typically ripping off in movies.

End autism.

So, I listened to the Pippa song.. it's not too bad. It almost reminds me of late-stage Urusei Yatsura music. The vocals fall apart around 1:17 when Melodyne (or whatever they used for vocal pitch correction) has an aneurism.

I've also tried to isolated the vocals, but there is so much reverb that it came out very robotic.

But, here are my attempts:

Isolation w/Reverb intact:

Isolation with a decrease in Reverb:

Note: That this is not an exact science and what you may think is 'auto-tuned' may just be digital noise, even with all of the post-pitch correction.

Numberfagging BTFO!

1:54:21 because I couldn't figure out how to attach YT embeds that play on the exact time frame I want them to.

"Don't focus on numbers because it'll eat you alive. (chuckle) It'll eat your brain."
- Mousey

It's all been said and done here many times already. Don't chase trends. Don't numberfag. Don't rely on analytics as a sole, tangible measure for your own success. Yadda yadda.

Overall a highly informative video. If any of ya'll plan to become content creators or bichubbas, I'd recommend it.

I totally didn't expect Mousey's appearance. Though it was funny that I saw Mother's Basement and Hbomberguy there. Doubly whammy. I suppose Vtubing has already reached a wide audience even Vtubers show up in the content of people who are remotely associated with the Vtubing sphere.

Says the guy who put a 2 hour video when he could condensed in 10 minutes just so he could earn more by watch time.
