Of course, nobody would have predicted Chris would violate his mother, so that metaphorical blood isn't on anyone's hands, but at the same time, late-stage Chris is indistinguishable from other retarded narcissists like Ralph and Chantal. I more meant that personality of his was more worthy of feeling a desire to help. Yes the motherfucking completely ruined it but that was not expected. Yes I know Chris said a lot of weird shit about his mom and you can crow about how you all knew all along but Chris has said a lot of retarded shit over the years, both of his own volition and compelled, but hasn’t acted out on it like this before. His other really bad things were mostly spur of the moment spergouts, not this systemically planned shit. And before I get accused of being too soft on Chris, elderly incest abuse is disgusting and deserves punishments that no longer exist, and anyone trying to seriously help Chris past this point deserves every ounce of misery that will come their way.

I don't think many can seriously claim that they expected the incest shit but like I said, his extreme egotism and long history of indulging in instant gratification make it hard to be surprised that he would have ended up hurting someone eventually. Especially given that since then he has not even admitted to what happened let alone displayed a shred of remorse.

The financial stability most likely would not have worked longterm because Chris believes that someone will always take care of his needs no matter what. He's never committed to doing anything for very long. Skinnerboxing him into paying for a convention to me doesn't mean he was going to commit to supporting himself, he has avoided doing so for 20 years.

I can't possibly be the only one who's sincerely worried about what Chris's (potential) release situation is looking like. Best case (and extremely optimistic) scenario, he'll end up in some type of group home or managed care facility on the Virginia taxpayer dime and lives a sheltered life with limited-to-no internet access (a la Jonathan "effinrawz" Ross). Absolute worst case scenario (and the most likely one) is that Chris may end up in some halfway house or some short-term housing arrangement that will quickly fall apart due to his uncanny ability to fuck his own life up in the most unexpected ways.

We're staring down a very serious chance of Chris ending up homeless for an extended length of time. He's gonna end up like Lucas Werner, ADF, or Tommy Tooter but with a critical difference: there are some seriously unhinged maniacs out there who'd take Chris in over the others in a heartbeat in spite of his extremely well-documented faults and crimes. Even now as a literal motherfucker, I guarantee you that there's gonna be some deranged lunatic who'll shelter Chris and brag about it (overtly, secretly, or otherwise).
