At least it looks like the physics are sensible as opposed to the nicktoons variant. I just hope they nail the netcode, it's odd how many smash clones in particular seem to mess it up in ways that aren't latency related.

There's actually an in-universe reason for his UI Shaggy-ness in his bio:

It's more of a nod to the meme rather than a direct reference to it and even then the meme was losing steam long before this game came around.

From what I heard from the original closed Beta, netcode is solid.
 
Netcode is good, but it feels so floaty and unresponsive. A lot of the time I input a move and the character performs a different one.

And, Unreal Engine? No wonder everything looks so poorly rendered.

Specifically, set up an account for the game, sync your twitch account, and watching anyone streaming the game with drops enabled for an hour. Doesn’t have to be one full stream, just a collective 60 mins of watching the game.

Even more specific, it doesn't HAVE to be the game itself as I watched some chode watch a livestream (I think??) of some other chode selling off their PS1 on ebay
No I don't know what was going on but you can watch your progress here and I saw it fill up as I had the stream muted on another tab and it had the drops enabled, but also the game's name in the description

It has to be tagged as "drop" for Multiversus.

Such a bad practice lmao. Creators who sell their souls get pushed up, small creators get lost in content.
 
Got to play a couple hours, it’s pretty fun. Taz is a fucking beast getting around the screen, and I unlocked Finn near the end. He’s a glass cannon, but his sword and his up special make him really good at fending off multiple opponents.

There’s a small battle pass to unlock for about $5, gets you two extra costume with voices along with random cosmetic stuff. There’s also a free one that gets you a costume and random cosmetic stuff as well.
