While Nader is a piece of shit and I believe he is an abuser, Chantal is not your so called classic domestic violence victim. Showed a friend who actually did suffer from DV, she went back a couple of times because #1 she had nowhere else to go #2 she had children and no money to feed them. #3 her abuser controlled everything including their money. She eventually found the courage to apply for council housing in a small country town about 5 hours drive from where she lived. with help from government crisis centre she hired a truck, packed everything into it and drove off one day while he was at work. Never went back.
Chantal on the other hand continued to go back while having her own place, to stalk, to leave things so she had to go back, to bribe with gifts and money, to hound any woman who so much as dared to speak against her abuser, to make pathetic excuses for her abusers behaviour. Also given the chance she would be back in a flash. She does not care about abuse victims, she only cares about what Chantal wants. NO she IS as bad as Nader and I have no sympathy for her, she would probably be the sort of woman who helps drag an innocent girl into a situation for her man to abuse. To me Chantal is to Nader what Ghislaine Maxwell was to Jeffrey Epstein. The difference being that Nader does not want her as a girl friend. she reeps what she sews
