Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

I hate to Necro but I loved this show and I'm genuinely sad nothing has replaced it in the time since. So far, I get my horror fix from wendigoon and Nick Crowley. Anyone know any other go.od YouTubers who cover creepy stuff? Should note despite liking the above, True Crime doesn't really interest me. I'm more interested in the overtly supernatural mysteries.
If you like supernatural stuff, I would recommend Mr.Mythos, and Think Anomalous. If you like lost media videos I recommend SourceBrew and BlameItOnJorge.

Just sharing some true crime channels that I found that mainly talk about cases from Asia.

Nash Lee
Like she says at the end, pics of the victims have been posted online, I think some subreddit has them, don't go looking if you can't handle it

GrazyTV
She is a makeup girl, but some of the cases are really interesting

Is having an ad for a cutesy plushie version of your true crime channel's avatar in bad taste? Especially before you start talking about a murderer right after? It certainly is really weird.

I would say yes because it is bad enough you are profitting off of someone's actual tragic death, but then you are using that attention to sell merch on top of it that none of the profits will ever see the families mentioned.

Like it is one thing if this was like a story made up by some guy but it is another entirely to do it over a real incident because it shows how little you respect the people affected by it.

At the bare minimum, simple editing to remove the "um"s and "yeah"s, doing actual research and not just relying on Reddit, and a script to keep him on track would improve his videos drastically.
This can be said about so many of the YT horror channels. There seems to be some aversion to doing any research that is deeper than hunting for a Reddit post. They want the YouTube monies but don’t want to put any effort into the content. It’s not so wild to assume you’ll need 1:1 prep time. I’m not saying they all need to become the end all be all font of knowledge, but if you’re just going to read me what you found on Reddit I’m going to have to pass.

Is ScareTheater even any good? I recall he made a cringe video where he called people homophobic for calling Desmond is Amazing creepy and being concerned about it.

Anyone will doesn’t find Desmond absolutely terrifying should be locked up.

Having a child and grooming him to become a drag performer just so that you’d have a bargaining chip to get more access to your favorite murderer…

Watching him high out of his mind, hanging out with a convicted murderer in front of a painting about child sex abuse… like that should upset you.

Sorry but if I was known as "the guy who wrote Abandoned By Disney" I would never get on the Internet again, especially not Kiwi Farms.
It's a pretty mild creepypasta with the best part being the ending, the best to come out of it was the Fnaf game to be honest. "I hate you" is at least numerous because of it being a Trollpasta.

On that note, I remember him bringing up that he was going to give the rights out for a TV show/movie adaptation which sounded super arrogant even then and the show would ironically lose its magic if it was some bootleg thing.

Wish the dude talked more about his happenings with other horror channels personalities, would do him a lot better than bitching about people not understanding him all the time.

He was a Nightmind type of person who was lacking personality (most of the time) but he didn't do the "roleplay" thing NM did nor did he have the production value but his videos were fine.

He did a good job being level with the viewer and was there if you wanted to get the real story behind something with his Interview with the Creator of Jeff the Killer being the biggest and most well-known example.

Remember his Cryptid videos and strange YouTube videos series being on the better side personally and his content is fine, it's nothing new for him or the channel but it just feels kind of strange with his channel being dead for a while but that's a given.

Btw please post the video where he bitches about gay shit, that sounds really funny even better if it was before or while 2016.

Disturbing Internet 11

Well, here's the third attempt for Eudoxia with this video. In the pinned comment he mentions being "burnt out on the format" before immediately saying that he's looking forward to doing the same format on his Patreon. I sincerely doubt the people who watch these videos care about all the complaining.
If he’s burnt out why not take a break from the format and do different content to get views? I hate when people complain in videos about what they’re making. If you hate it so much make something else damn.

The issue with these horror channels is that they typically lack quality content owing to constraints from YouTube and lack of substance, so they produce uninteresting videos to try and stay active. They are only able to cover surface-level ARGs and the occasional intriguing channel since gore and ominous/horrific content don't fare well on YouTube.

You know you fucked up when even the faggots and trannies are calling you out in the comment section. What the fuck.
He exists solely as a prop for his mom, and she literally loaned him out for shit that’s more terrifying to me than half the “horror” content on these channels.

But talking about it gets you canceled so nobody of note will have that discussion on their channel.

If only they knew Bitchute was a thing... *sigh*

I'm sure that they do know about alternatives but don't want to deal with them because they'll have to migrate a fanbase without getting "muh ad revenue". I heard after Leafy('s podcast) got banned from YT this year he just moved to TikTok instead of using Odyssey or something.

Why do all of them shill shitty plushies
They all come from Makeship, a website especialized in plushies that look passable enough but are extremely easy to mass produce and, more importantly, easy as fuck to design. Almost every single content creator I see just picks the default model they offer and throws in some very minimal changes to make the plushie more recognizable. Some are far more blatantly lazy than others and borderline on Funko Pop levels of generic. Which, in many cases, is probably something that appeals to their audience.

But yeah, I guess the answer is that when you have an audience that majorly consists of actual children and manchildren with too much money on their hands who literally cannot resist the words "limited time only" and some plushie company approaches you with an offer that lets you make some extra income by selling a toy you'd probably take less than ten minutes to design, it becomes very very difficult to turn them down.

I think Moth had the most visually offensive one

i weep for the poor soul that actually owns a plushie of Quinton Reviews

I've been seeing tons of youtubers do that plushie shit. At first I thought they were neat and at least better than stamping on designs to generic tshirts and mugs, but then I figured a plushie is useless by comparison. As useless as a funko pop with less preservation due to fabrics rather than plastics.

Seeing as people are posting the other common horror youtubers, here were the Wendigoon plushies from that Makeship site. Not sure what the price was, but i'm seeing most of these things priced at $25-$30 USD.

Do you ship to my country? How much?

We ship worldwide with a flat rate starting at 8.99 USD and 3.99 USD on every additional item. Note: Due to the Corona Virus outbreak, delivery to some countries is temporarily unavailable.

Merchandising! Merchandising! Fuck, I love that film!!

New video from Dreading about the guy who directed Jeepers Creepers
One thing I'll give dreading credit for is that at least they recognized fairly early on that most of their videos are impossible to get monetization on, and don't really shy away from using some of the common "no-no words" for true crime youtubers. Not really the most in-depth or engaging of content, but it's still refreshing to have a true crime story on YT where they don't censor the word pedophile.
