It'd be a lot cheaper to make an anime than the game they're making. It's not that an anime would cost too much, it'd only cost a few million to make a series. It's just that it wont bring in money. Most anime make their money from merch sales and since hololive is already selling merch as fast as they can it wouldn't really benefit them. I think it's a mistake to not do it because it'd give them all a chance to do some voice acting and spread the brand more and they could put a bunch of the songs in, use the animation for MVs etc and it'd be a lot more cost effective than paying a fortune for animated MVs just for the songs

IRyS is the one who broke me on that front. I still question whether I actually want a body pillow (I mean, it does sound kinda nice, and I've always wanted to try a weighted blanket too ), but even then I don't think I'd ever actually use the cover on a pillow because I have a habit of worrying about breaking things and will most likely keep it in mint condition, sealed in it's original packaging.

I toss and turn often and its sometimes hard to get good sleep. Weighted blanket might also help for that. Friend used his wife's pregnancy pillow for a while and he says its really good for sleeping (its basically a larger body pillow). I might consider getting one in the near future.

Really digging Erina's streams late at night. Super comfy. Yesterday about half of the questions were about asking her to do ASMR. She doesnt have the mic for it. Pretty sure you can get some really cheap ones that do the trick until you get enough to buy the dumb ear ones. Her voice is really suited for it although it seems she might have some background noise (i often hear honking in the background and i thought it was part of the BGM but it seems its not) which might not be great for ASMR.

Fishman should invest a bit into Gen2's equipment. Remi has a dogshit laptop. Rie's PC nearly died while playing Cyberpunk. Shiina had to play Poppy Playtime at lowest graphic quality. I think the only ones with decent PCs is the TrashPanda and Dog. She gives Fauna vibes but with a more mature voice.

As far as I'm aware the original comic was discontinued because people were associating Aria Wintermint, the main character, more with Merryweathery than with her original creator, Parororo. I haven't been able to find any more details than that, does anyone know what happened?

Speaking of Merryweathery, apparently none other than the Mister Metokur helped him get out of a controversy early on in his career. Are there any details on this? So far I haven't found anything specific.

She had a bit of a freakout and set up a chat stream, talked with them a bit (idk about what), then deleted all her previous streams and seems to be starting fresh. She's managing a consistant 100 views, so I guess she got some out of it?

and frankly - speaking as a future applicant here for both companies (cover and anycolor), holostars en is looking like a better option rn. now don't get me wrong, i still wanna strive for a spot in both places,
it's just that i'm already dreading being a part of a future nijien wave based on the vibe i'm getting from ilusers, and it's turning me off big time. i really didn't mind feesh's shit that much and thank god (literally) for nina and her not following suit. but purple homo boy was the first huge red flag. now aia. i see a disturbing trend here.

because if by some miracle, a sewage rat like me gets accepted by anycolor, i am not looking
forward to june. something tells me that i might be held at gunpoint by my "potential colleagues"
if i don't say "happy pride month" or say the right pronouns.

i just hope that holostars en isn't like that in terms of the work environment,
literally would lose its appeal for me in an instant. from my limited understanding
at least holo roommates keep to themselves in that aspect with however they identify, prius and all.

if i do end up in nijien, i'd stick to my own bubble, because i can't imagine having your entire existence revolve around pandering to the fujo and troon masses, just to have their grimy money. i'll pick being a wagey over selling my soul.

Like it was said on /vt/ and twitter when a (strikingly now deleted similar tweet convo) happened - The talents getting in are fine as it comes down to creativity and their ability to maintain an audience, especially in the EN coomerbait heavy sphere. NijiEN has been literally the same since the beginning. On the boy end, that is the only change. Lazulight played it safe being the first wave of a new branch, so outside of Finana's idiocy, nothing to really report on. Obsydia, basically the same. Ethyria filled with people who aren't trying to "play it safe" and are speaking honestly, as with all EN vtubers, they have their usual bs pandering in ways. The boys, specifically Vox and Mysta, are the ones that pander heavily. Wave 6 is turning out the same way, the only one that's "pandering" is Aia, and that's simply because she's making "I'm gay lol" her personality, like Uki did. None of them have debut'd yet to draw a conclusion on how they are, especially trying to compare Holostars En. Also no, none of the Holostars/NijiEN roommates "kept to themselves", many of them are actually toning themselves down due to, well, obvious reasons.
