He's basically Walmart-tier at this point. They have such a hard time finding and retaining employees, they'll hire anything that shows minimal sentience. It's a shitty place to work, but as a first step back on the employment ladder, it's useful.McDonald's actually has benefits. Health, dental, vision, life insurance and a damn 401k. They pay over minimum wage and you just push the little button and the fries will tell you when they're done! But he has a ten year gap in his work history so they won't want to hire him, either.
No, they aren't. She's a terrible as a fine artist, but there are a lot of crafts she could do for minimal financial outlay that would sell. She just needs to get over to YouTube and start browsing tutorials. She has endless free time; if she put 40 hours a week into making and selling stuff, she could do okay.Good news. No one is stopping you.
IIRC, she is allowed to make a certain amount of (traceable) money without having her benefits reduced or eliminated, and if she pushes cash sales, who is going to be the wiser? She could at least make cat food money. But then again, her "necessities" will likely expand along with her income, and she'll still be chronically broke and begging.
If she was capable of being the "unstoppable force" she claims she would be, she'd still be an unstoppable force, even with disabilities. Maybe not on so big a scale, but she wouldn't be collapsed into a pool of resentment and self-pity and learned helplessness She'd be doing something to help herself, because she wouldn't be able to not do it.
With any luck, her roommate will be a skinny woman who gets released the same day (I feel for her roommate in that hospital. They are going to have a miserable time trapped with this woman.
