Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I don't get this narrative that everyone working at Kennedyfilm hates Kathleen and is secretly playing 5D chess to save Star Wars. Most of these motherfucking clowns are loyal to her (especially Jon and Dave) and it's hilarious seeing Doomcuck pretend Jon is some secret genius especially after his godawful remake of the Lion King.
Slave Leia is a badass moment for Leia. Not because of her sexy looks, but her triumph in killing Jabba, freeing the slaves from a fat fuck.
They tried calling her Huttslayer Leia just to acknowledge that from a female empowerment angle but still want to pretend the bikini never happened.

I'm sure they all secretly hate each other. But its that weird thing where when they aren't trying to kill each other they are trying to fuck.

Is this really what passes for “info” on Wookieepedia these days?

Also the fact she was able to choke a hutt, those have VERY muscular necks. So it is safe to assume Leia used some degree of the dark side of the force to gain enough strength to choke Jabba.

Its empowering but since she was in a pretty outfit, I guess it doesnt count

Reactions: The Decimator
The people that want to get rid of Slave Leia are jealous that they can never be beautiful like how Carrie Fisher was.
This charlatan will never quit will he?
Vader's redemption works because of a few factors, the first one being that it was setup argurably since Ep 5 with the reveal, second that Vader took down the EMPEROR while redeeming himself without any concern of his own safety, and third...Vader died. Thats right, Vader died because thats what had to happen for this story to work because, realistically, had Vader survived, he would have been screwed.
Most importantly has last action was being his true self Anakin Skywalker, by dying for his son. What did Kylo died for at the end of his story? All he died for was to make Reylo a thing and because Vader died at the end of his story so it's obligatory that Kylo dies to.

He should have that written on his tombstone. I think that would be his only significant achievement in his life.

They talk about how beautiful she was but still get pissed when there aren't enough 300 pound diverse LGBT females in Disney Wars.

Sometimes I think JJ is a fag for pandering to Reylos in TROS, then he's accidentally based for killing Kylo off at the end.

Modern entertainment killed the concept of redemption and turning bad guys good. Mostly because they dont understand actual redemption.
Writers for most modern entertainment either make the villain so over-the-top evil to represent *insert political figure* or the villain is not at fault for their actions because they are a minority or because the audience (and probably the writers) want to have sex with them. MCU Loki could have had a fitting arc like Vader with his death in Infinity War. But that was just the MCU Prime Loki who died and now there is an alternate Loki to keep the consoomers happy.

Seriously, imagine being a bigger shithead in your 30s than I was at 14.

I could have said the same thing about C-3PO when I was watching ROTJ for the first time. I thought he was annoying.
Like 3PO, Jar Jar was the annoying one doing good. C-3PO was basically a golden god and helped get the Ewoks' help and Jar Jar became a general on the front line.

@Mississippi Motorboater
that was what Young Jedi Knights was written to do
Man, I missed out of a lot of EU sperging that I probably would of had more to comment on if I wasn't a week behind on the thread. However, I will disagree... to a point. The Young Jedi Knights definitely COULD of been that, but those books were purely YA novel schlock. I say that as someone who was at the perfect age for that schlock to completely engross me into the EU for the next 6-7 years. It was still YA schlock at the end of the day, and the Jacen of Young Jedi Knights and NJO are vastly different characters despite only year and half to two years of aging. YJK Jacen is who I kinda imprinted on as a child, and that's not the Jacen of NJO.

I finished the Agent of Chaos books. These were the last two books I was able to go back and find detailed posts of my high school aged self talking about. After that it sorta jumps to the end of the entire series and that's where I quit the EU(for pretty petty reasons of I didn't want to see Jacen become the bad guy, and didn't want to read a series 1/3rd written by Travis).

I actually finished these quite a while ago, I just started Balance Point, the delay entirely caused by the fact that I didn't have the next book loaded onto my phone, and went to easy Youtube videoes to fill the time instead.

I HATED Agent of Chaos as a kid. On about a 1-5 scale, I rated Vector Prime a 1, Dark Tide a 3, and Agents of Chaos a -2. Even after finishing the series I considered Agent of Chaos to be the only terrible books of the NJO.

I... don't really get why as an adult. I'd consider them pretty banal, there are less points I like than Stackpole's Dark Tide, but there is little I hate. One thing I guess at is, James Luceno, at least in this book, does a shit ton of references to the Bantam Era. If that's his style, or if that was an order on high, I'm not sure(I'm at this point saving behind the scenes stuff for after the series). At the time, I had read all of the Young Jedi Knights, a few other YA novels, but only a smattering of full Bantam Novels. Beside all of Zahn's work, I know I read Jedi Academy and Darksaber, but not sure I read any other in their trilogies. So maybe all those references went over my head. Plus, from my old posts, I was super salty about Chewie being killed, and Droma as a replacement probably rubbed me the wrong way.

So these comics are an adaptation of the show or new stories?

Its his style. Luceno likes to make callbacks to everything and always remembers even the most minute details on things. His chronicle of the Falcon's history in particular remembers almost every detail about the Falcon from every source imaginable, a trait he shares with Abel G. Pena and both are pretty passionate about this stuff when asked and are pretty friendly, which genuinely makes me wish they had been put in charge of the disney wars story group or its pr department from the start instead of Porgcuck, Hidalgo and that spergy retard that's currently running the SW twitter.

Just adaptations. They seemed to drop any attempts at new tie-in stories or even releasing a guide after the Gina drama happened.

This is the thing I always loved about the EU, how interconnected everything is. I get that it could get impenetrable sometimes, but I feel like it's more a strength than a weakness.

I can understand people finding Jar Jar too silly, but the level of seething vitriol he and Jake Lloyd inspired in people to the point where some even sent both actors (one of which was just a fucking kid) death threats or even humiliating them was just no end of retarded, to the point where even journalists went up to harass the kid. The biggest irony is that these same people, some of which I knew and one who even joked about Jake Lloyd committing suicide is the first to cry foul and whine about how the evil haters of today are toxic and malicious when the Disney Wars critics are practically low effort trolls compared to the autistic fury of the 2000s, most of which would even come from Hollywood hosts. Hell even the Kelly Mary Tran/Rose Tico drama was incredibly overblown compared to the frothing rage aimed Ahmed Best and Lloyd, with the latter ending up a schizophrenic mess due to having to deal with shit far worse than people sending him naughty tweets.

The hypocrisy was even worse though, as aside from fags like Andrew Dobson or MovieBlob, I remember even a Mad TV skit where they made fun of George for being a "racist" because his characters were "racists stereotypes" yet this is the same show that had a mentally ill asian stereotype as one of its most recurring characters.

Okay, I have to post this.

The real Luke Skywalker has the biggest heart out of all the characters in the complete saga.

His compassion for others, his courage to obtain peace, and his persuasion for Anakin to see the error of his way is why he has remain a cornerstone to not just the franchise but to our childhood.

The What If Universe’s Luke is nothing more than a cowardly, moronic, lazy, and depressed hermit who’ll never top his true counterpart.

It's even better when you watch it

Then by the time Disney buys Lucasfilm these people pretend they were more well adjusted irl than they actually were at the time. The prequels were like the holocaust mixed with 9/11 in their minds. Then there's the overblown Ewok hate OT purists seem to have. I know this is from a comedy TV show but people actually believed this stuff back then.

Failure is the greatest teacher. Star Wars was for children. Now it's for adults, the way it was meant to be.

I hate Simon Pegg with a burning passion. Something about him just strikes me as an unlikeable douchebag.
