lmao
reddit mods are notorious for either secretly being part of community management/marketing or at least get "paid off" with swag and other exclusive shit, and if they're not they behave like it to get an in for all that swag.

I remember just being underwhelmed by TLOU and not understanding what the big deal was at the time.
good graphics (especially for a ps3 game), good gameplay (ymmv), serviceable story which gave plenty of people feels. the combination that worked out quite well, one of the reasons sony tried it again and again.

There was 4 different versions of Skyrim released within 10 years of its release. There's 3 versions of TLOU and the game isn't even a decade old yet. Druckmann is obviously trying to bite Todds style. What Druckmann doesn't realize is that Todd has something he never will.
An army of autists who fill fix his game for free

The tension when you heard a clicker. I finished Days Gone and as a horror work, it was kind of meh, I never really have been interested in 'zombies' which is effectively what both games are based on, but TLOU & TLOU2 have great decaying settings and fluid gunplay. The horror element is what sealed it, though, it's a much slower-paced game.

Vanilla Skyrim is good anyway, TLOU is mediocre as fuck.

He couldn't handle the army of autists also fixing and changing his ~ vision ~.
Todd is a benevolent god

Ratios on the non-PS channels are even worse.

Crowing about the "difficulty" in redesigning levels and battles is the biggest crock of shit that I've seen coming out of the people defending Naughty Dog. Redesigning aspects is a huge aspect that separates remakes from remasters, there absolutely is merit in redesigning levels built around the limitations of the PS3. If that was too much to ask of the so-called "crown jewel" of PlayStation, then they should've made it a budget title like Halo CE Anniversary or Gears of War Ultimate Edition (the latter even reanimated & reshot all the cutscenes, something this "remake" refuses to do).

The more I think of this "remake", the more pissed off I get. This has no purpose other than to further milk a nine year old game.
I'm just going to do what I did when Skyward Sword was re-released for $60 on the switch or when Twilight Princess was re-released for the Wii-U.

I'm not going to buy it because I already played it.

It looks like parts of TLOU1 have been leaked, including the scene with Sarah:

And here's a few photos of TLOU1, and a comparison below:

The TLOU1 Tommy scene looks like it's meme potential, but in a forced and unfunny way. And everything as a whole looks like either a sidegrade, or a downgrade.

I honestly can’t tell the difference from the original.

"developer" he edits the trailers
calling everyone who does anything in the process of releasing a game a developer is one of the more cancerous things that wokeists have done, this guy has never touched a line of code and likely wouldnt know the difference

Yes. The developer, debuggers, marketers, and publishers are all separate, even if they’re all in the same company. Just because you are involved in the game in some tangential way does not make you a ‘developer’, much like how doing makeup for Brad Pitt does not make you a ‘filmmaker’.

Traditionally, this seems more like a port than a remake.
