I've been informed almost at last minute that my summer vacation days will be cut in half and I have to spend that time cleaning the offices while the office workers are off taking it easy. This situation is shitty enough to sour my mood but the cherry on the cake is that I'll be accompanied by a coworker who, while a pleasant enough guy, talks in absolute circles.

The idea that only women and fruitcakes should own candles is so bafflingly stupid and misandrist. Owning candles should just be a standard adult expectation, like owning a set of screwdrivers.

You don't need to be a faggot to appreciate the use of candle light to relax. Does the average man no longer have a sense of romance when it comes to courtship and married life? Men don't exactly have magic cat eye night vision when shit hits the fan and the power goes out for a couple of days or more. Flashlights and phone lights will only do so much good for so long and take up one of your hands while doing it.

Look, I'm not saying that all the guys need to scurry over to Bath and Bodyworks and start huffing $35 strawberry cake-scented candles for an hour every weekend, just get yourselves some basic, cheap candles that can do the job of lighting various spots in your dwelling when the power goes out. Buy the other kind of overpriced candles, the ones marketed as "survival" candles if it makes you feel better. If someone has a problem with it, they're fucking dumb and can go crying to someone else's place when they can't see anything because their phone died an hour after a storm knocked a tree onto their power lines.

I probably have at least 20 candles around my house right now, and will always light the trio I have at the corner of the bath. Gives some atmosphere, smells good, and I like it.

As an artist and as a human being, there are many things you can fault Eminem for. Getting drugged up and nearly dying in front of his own daughter multiple times. Failing to manage his record label and letting many of his talents go to waste. Making Revival. Letting Paul Rosenberg and Snoop Dogg convince him into the NFT con. But being a bad rapper is not one of them. Were he actually bad, the public and critics alike would have let him know decades ago.

Another diving instructor on a weekend liveaboard was all like, Lurk_Moar, you sink like a fucking rock because of all of your muscles. You are so dense, Lurk_Moar. Because you idiots grossly overweighted me from the get-go and me being a naive n00b diver trusted your asses.

I hate how much everything fucking costs right now. Despite budget shopping, going without most luxuries, and nickel and diming household goods, it seems like my above average salary is stretching halfway to fucking nowhere.

I still like to collect and listen to music CDs but I really hate those cardboard slip cases. They're flimsy, fragile and seem to disintegrate after only a few years. Worst of all they scratch the disks due to having to slide the disk out. Don't get me wrong the plastic jewel cases are sometimes just as bad but at least in my case I've seemed to have better luck with them plus I think they look nicer on my shelf.

It was very affected, that's why people were so pissed off. Gas prices went sky high and the economy completely and utterly collapsed before he left office.

By that time the post-9/11 patriotism had faded and people were just plain tired of the endless wars and bullshit. Things had deteriorated so badly it is unbelievable how different 1999 and 2009 were.
