I've never been a member of AA or DFA, but read the pages after the 1st court case out of interest. I soon gave up on AA as it got completely crazy, with insane suggestions about how to wake him up, and the accusations about the doctors started flying. I thought DFA members were more educated and "normal" for a while, but now it's just a tit for tat site, each trying to discredit the other and a whole lot of slagging going on on both sides. I've read the court transcripts, and some newspaper articles, and I've made up my own mind. I feel so sorry for the young boy at the centre of all this, but I think his family have a lot to answer for, and I hope it will all come out eventually. At first I thought H was acting out of guilt because she found him, and couldn't save him, but her behaviour is so bizarre now, I believe she is acting only in her own interests, and using Archie as a means to an end. She is despicable. I really hope this will not drag on any further, and Archie will be laid to rest, then there should be an enquiry into the circumstances of his death, and an investigation into what exactly the mother is so desperate to cover up. Is it just mental health issues, or is there another reason she's telling so many lies?

My understanding is that the menstruation part was probably bullshit Mama Nails was spewing to make Jahi seem less dead. I could be mistaken, but I think (allegedly) one of her nurses even said that it was unrelated discharge from bed sores or something similar. I'm curious about the weight differences as well though given how clearly Archie is wasting. The hospital itself didn't place the tube in Jahi's case, rather it was done elsewhere once Mama Nails got the body released back to her. I wonder if it's possible she was being overfed right up to the end to keep up appearances versus Archie being under legitimate professional care. Definitely not a medfag so just baseless speculation though.

Yes he's great. He pointed out on thursday they conceded the points the appeal was based on, so there's no case at all

The UK still has pretty strong class tiers, which definitely exacerbates it. And part of it is totally legitimate to be mad at, if you happen to be born to the right parents and go to the right boarding school etc. you're going to have a much easier time in life than Hollie has ever had.

They had given the judgement: appeal is dismissed, Justice Hayden's judgement stands. Archie is allowed to be let go.

They were expecting that. Direct appeal to the Supreme Court now, no doubt, and eventually ECHR, unless the inevitable happens in the mean time.

I was also expecting them to adjourn but here we are - colour me pleasantly surprised.

Back into court shortly for oral reasoning.

I’m not sure they can go to Supreme Court because they asked Hayden for immediate appeal which was refused. With this one it’s now 2 refusals from High and Appeal
