Are the Nijis deliberately disabling embeds on new channel livestreams? Voltaction also had live embeds disabled. HoloX and Zeta had live embeds disabled (yes, only Zeta out of ID3) but Holos have not had that issue since. If it is deliberate, what purpose could that possibly serve? If it isn't deliberate - there was speculation that Hololive getting Youtube MCN status was what fixed the embed problem, but Nijisanji has had MCN status longer IIRC.
I really like his drawing prop. He's making the most out of his design.
While that makes sense as the reason, I'll pitch a rrat: Management is taking a page from Salome's playbook and keeping their streams short to attract people with time commitment issues.

So catching up as I seen she did have her basically 2.0 debut, and yeah as expected much better without being hindered by scuffed net. Shiishii got a multi-star rating player as part of her new class recruits, plays third base. Stats are already above most end-game products. Whereas Sonny will be her new relief pitcher, another new student with decent stats. I think with Vox (who has been a major team carry and stat padded like mad) and this new addition it's GG for this year's Koshien.

Maybe. Shiishii and Kagami are usually the dark horses of the competition anyway, but Kuzuha and Kagami's team is also good.
Ibrahim had a strong start but accidentally triggered the game's anti save-scumming penalty and nuked the stats of his team. Nui's Chomoranma is very strong all-round but I'm curious about her skill to actually play the game when up against the others.
Lize, Sasaki, and Leos might be too far off the pace. Voltaction and ILUNA are also being split across the teams at some point.
My guess is that it'll be another Kagami v Shiishii final but I'm hoping for an upset.

New debuts are always fun because my expectations always get completely flipped on their head. Of Iluna, the single VTuber I'll probably continue to check out is Aster. Kyo's voice not matching his face was too much of a shock for me - I would've swapped Kyo and Ren around, if only because Ren's design looks like it should have a deeper voice, and that strange accent would probably fit an alien. Speaking of Ren, he also almost sounds too generic for me to be interested in. Maybe I'll check in on him later.
Tempus, however... the two people with the designs I disliked most, Magni and Noir, ended up being the ones I'll undoubtedly watch, Noir especially has such comfy vibes I'll probably catch his zatsu every day. Meanwhile, Regis filtered me goddamn hard with the ASMR vibe debut so if he knocks that shit off, maybe. I'll warm up to Axle, I'm sure.

There's got to be more context to this and I'm sure there are some numbers that matter more than others. If Magster isn't bringing in more money than it costs to manage him, those particular numbers are going to matter a whole lot.
At this point HL is big and experienced enough that the cost of managing an additional streamer beyond the initial onboarding costs is probably pretty negligible and just having the HL name attached to your channel will at least bring in a solid baseline of viewers (despite everyone pretending that's not true when Connor or whoever said that a few months ago) so I'm sure he'll do fine, though.
