I'm actually a long time subscriber to Shad and I can throw my two cents in here since I haven't watched one of his videos in a while despite them frequently coming across my recommended feed. I just don't find most of his videos all that interesting and his manner of speaking is hard for me to listen to unless the subject of the video is really interesting to me, combine that with the fact that there are other channels that cover his area of interest better and I don't really have a reason to watch most of his stuff. I'd really enjoy him going back to fantasy inspired videos where he talked about the logistics of a fantasy world since those were both helpful and inspirational to me for me TTRPG hobby, I don't really care about most of the other stuff he does.

It was stunning though to see K&G support BLM at the height of the 2020 anarchy, made me lose a lot of affection for them.

Every historian can apply for a fellowship in the Royal Historical Society, that's nothing fancy. You apply and then you get elected by the RHS' board and tbh I've never heard of an application being rejected by the RHS. The RHS like all the other Royal Societies is basically just a professional body for historians but with a fancy name. The UK it littered with Societies of that Kind:

Found this random Mr. Beat comment on a random vaguely consoomer YT channel (link). Anything not in a bughive or is a "zoo" is wrong and should be discouraged. Maybe I'm thinking too deeply about this, but these kind of people are what caused Sea World and other zoos to get closed down/reduced. Pretty soon, zoos will be closed down by these fucks. Less animals, less humans, less carbon death worshipers.

My conclusion: being an (ex) high school teacher does not give you authority or knowledge to be breadtube-lite.
