The DOCTOR finding people to throw under el autobús

I wrote both of my Senators, one of which is a RINO faggot (Tillis). Also added "my God-given rights as enumerated to me in the Constitution" to remind them what they're supposedly representing in the first place.
I sometimes wish I had that life and not the "Married for 30+ years, with grandkids... including one who -would not sleep- last night".
Being Hunter Biden

Living a stable, married life while ensuring that your family is safe, loved, and cared for

I dunno if you need this reminder, but here goes anyway: you made the right choice.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, no one said to start smoking crack. if anything, it'd be more like being John Belushi: wild, funny, and beloved by all boomer men aged 50 to 70.

There’s no way this is legal, it’s up to states to run their elections.

Don’t be fags about this one too, SCOTUS
"We're not telling them how to run their elections, we're just ensuring that if someone wants to drop off 500 ballots in the middle of the night, they can do safely and opaquely."

But yeah, even if this is illegal -- it is -- it'll take more than the 3 months we have left until the midterms to overturn. Better not get your hopes up about that red wave.

I genuinely fear for women as a whole if artificial wombs become viable and a thing.
don't worry about it, it's not going to happen

we understand way, way less about reproduction than popular science journalism would lead to you to believe. the menstrual cycle in humans isn't like any other mammal, or even any other primate, and it only began to be understood in the late 1940s. we didn't even learn what starts labor until after the turn of the century. and most importantly we really don't understand what happens in utero and what the implications would be if we fucked with it.

imo the closest we could possible get to "artificial wombs" would be a process that shortened pregnancy - transfer an IVF-generated blastocyte to a woman, then remove the baby at the earliest possible limit of viability and grow the baby outside like any other preemie.

but I don't think early to midorganogenesis will ever be able to take place outside a human. that's a very dicey period and it gets fucked up super easily and we probably miscarry most of the babies we conceive. plus like I said, we really have very little clue about fetal interuterine learning and experience. my intuition is that even the bestest artificial womb could not replicate the learning environment of a normal human womb - for example, babies come out already primed for their mother's language, and given what else we know about language acquisition that prenatal exposure must be key for language learning even if that baby ends up raised by the speakers of a different language. babies also come out primed for learning to navigate space, which requires super complicated systems mostly involving the inner ear. They are primed for this by the experience of floating inside of their mom who is affected by gravity and moving around and doing stuff all day.

the idea that artificial wombs could replace female fertility is based in a lack of, well, honestly, proper awe for female fertility. the more you learn about how babies are really made the more awe you feel. there is a huge lack of this information in the popular press but holy fuck is there a ton about IVF and surrogacy.

don't forget getting unconditional support from usps and a secret police to prevent leaks regarding back dating ballots

We should be more scared, as a people, if they finally allow Male Birth Control to be created. We'd see an overnight population crash, and a not insignificant number of useless women would no longer have the "hook a man and drain him dry" retirement plan that they so desperately need.
