I don't know who at Cover picked / approved boomer orc dad but I fucking kneel.
It's been a long time since I was genuinely this enthusiastic about seeing what someone is going to stream.
And a male talent at that.
Clearly the best timeline.
with the recent ID3 i have no doubt about cover scouting, they are the best at it,somehow they manage to find it,thats why don't really care that much about the whole design thing,in the end,its about the person behind it.
Are you people seriously considering Aiaiaia is going to infect your tiddies anime waifus with her twitter groupthink.
At the first yab, management will bonk her, and by the second she'll be released the same way Neo was dumped when he got unplugged from the matrix.
thats what they said with other thing too when it come to something like this, until its too late and everyone be like "why its become like this? fuck this sjw twittard",but to be fair,if she is going too far management probably bonk her just like with finana trap with end up straight up with that apology video instantly.

Oh, I agree and you can even trace that attitude back to Witcher 3 (which afair was her first stream and she dropped it in a huff because of a few backseaters) but it's still a bit unfair to them and something I'd expect more from an independent streamer. Based on what I read it especially rubbed idolfags the wrong way - it's pretty unheard of to show condescension towards fans in the idol industry because part of the kayfabe is showing gratitude to their fans as those responsible for their success. Like with the whole boyfriend part, ruining that illusion hurts the parasocials who already feel like they're the lowest of the low.
I still don't get why she attracted so many goslings though, it's definitely unhealthy.
Any VTuber who has superchat reading streams attracts goslings. No one sane donates $100 to have their name read.

This Holostars collab is doing the impossible.
They're making Apex fun to watch.

Now that there is JP and EN stars, you have to be more specific! I assume it was stars JP? I didn't see the ENs playing apex quite yet, unless I missed it.

Adding on to this with something I said the last time masterstocking asked if anyone knew how Uto was doing. At least Nakiri-gumi know that Cover or the Holos would speak up if Ayame was in actual danger of not coming back. Pikamee and Ironmouse and Pomu also have associates. Even Kson had a manager (pre-VShojo, and she still retains her services). Who does Uto have? If she doesn't have anyone she can trust to speak on her behalf, that needs to be fixed, regardless of her (justified or unjustified) paranoia.

Isn't she really close with her mama Nabi (same as Ame's mama if I remember the relationships correctly)? Seems like they collabed, covered, and interacted a lot, when they were both still on. Of course maybe Nabi isn't the best example since I think she has gone on some decently long hiatuses as well.

In terms of Uto, doing VA work it's not unsurprising if she had to disappear for awhile, since many VA vanish off social media (in Asia, at least) til after things are done. If its schooling, yeah same reason. Many of us would still play games etc, but some people tend to have almost no time in between going to school, studying, exams (especially in asia) to really care about anything else, so I can't put it past her, I did a chunk of my university days in Japan and the outside world didn't exist til after finals.

As Haachama is finding out as well, though it sounds like that might be self-inflicted as she took on way too much of a college load to do on top of her streaming, especially for someone like her.

She's leading a mafia ops against the kobo anti.

Jokes aside, hope all is well

SUPER RRATS time! Reine is super jealous of Kobo's success and actually is the one that hired the guy to go after/harass her, and now she's worried she's going to get found out because the bounty has been put out there!

I suspect a big reason Ame didn't like SuperChats was because she didn't want people dictating how she ran her stream. She is very much a streamer that does things at her own pace and the way she wants to.

Is it hololive policy/required to read superchats? Ame should just say she's never going to read them and just take away any drama potential. She'd lose some I'm sure, but I'd bet a lot of people would still send them anyway.

If anything that just makes what she said about improving themselves even more true lol. I just don't really have much sympathy for people who one-sidedly shove expectations onto streamers. I'd also much rather see a streamer call some people retarded than walk on egg shells around their audience and try to appease everyone. That just seems to always breed a toxic community.

Neither do I. Admittedly, I have not been around since her debut, so don't know much of what she was like back then, but what I have seen of her since I started watching chuubas never really gave me much reason to think she would have a more parasocial viewership like Ina or Kiara do.

No, plenty of girls don't do it because they think it's a waste of time like Suisei and Ina. Others outright discourage their viewers from sending superchats like Mio because they get a larger cut off of merch.

They read superchats because it encourages more superchats and they get more money. That's it.

You missed it

Nah there's members like Ina who don't. Too busy grinding her art day job to grind supacha reading.

I don't think there's any such policy because a ton of the girls basically never do superchat readings.

I generally figure it's just popular to do so because it's fairly easy content and kind of like a zatsudan on training wheels. Doesn't need much planning/work and makes some of the fans feel good (though it causes issues of it's own because attention is one hell of a drug)

They said the problem was power-tripping mods, and Nolan may be many things but a discord mod doesn't seem to be one of them.
we only know what he's like when he's powerless, who knows, given discord mod rights he could be one small step away from calling you his kitten.

The thread is very slowly starting to devolve into “the Vtuber I like is better because their fans haven’t done something cringy/bad/ect, unlike YOUR Vtuber!”

Some of you are about a half-step away from going full Twitter and labeling them “problematic”.

Just enjoy the fake anime girl playing the video game or making a joke or whatever.
Never.
I must let the KFP and deadbraps know that my oshii > ur oshii

This kind of thinking is extremely parasocial to me, and I don't know why people think that just because they threw $5 bucks down or even an akasupa on a streamer they suddenly have any input on how a stream is ran. That is a ridiculously controlling and entitled mindset to have.

Not to mention people on /vt/, and some even on Reddit and Twitter have been saying acting pretty autistic when it came to collabing with the males, especially Ame, for whatever reason. Ame has always been pretty blunt about her activities and when her audience is being autustic. This time is no different.

Also, it is always ironic to me when people complain about streamers "being mean" to their viewers and then turning around and wondering why everyone everyone is so sensitive nowadays.
Vtubing is like customer service, people think spending money allows them to treat the staff in ways they wouldn't treat them if they met on the street. I get the audience is their source of income through merch, superchats, and viewers luring in advertisements, but it's still pretty obnoxious to see people act so entitled. But you know, you just know these people are cunts to anyone working in retail, just based of how they act towards streamers.

Maybe Ame could talk with Kiara about tard wrangling since she seems to be on point with fan management in EN.

Any VTuber who has superchat reading streams attracts goslings. No one sane donates $100 to have their name read.
Is there anyone besides Suisei who says they won't read superchats? Allthough she still has obsessive fans who seem to ignore her saying she would never date a fan.

Note to self: don't try to edit posts on mobile, it's easy to send a reply mid-editing.

Isn't that the clipper that got collective shat on for cutting context and drama clipping?
Maybe but this is very much in context.

She had goslings since the beginning, especially after the Superliminal stream of hers. I can't explain it.

You're assuming Nolan isn't already banned from that Discord.

And in IRyS's case, it gives her an excuse to do a 5 hour short zatsudan (while sprinkling in thank yous) without her manager getting too mad at her.

Thats below the belt, not cool.
You’re right, I was too heated. Here is an apology.
