Well tomorrow's the day, I don't expect much beyond Greene county wishing they could throw the book at him so they can feed him to the sharks in big boy prison, but alas the best they can do is slap him on the wrist yet again, maybe put him on the therapeutic docket (again) and ship him to a tard home or at least send him home till the bank inevitably forecloses on his house. (assuming there's nothing barring him from going home at least) What amazes me most is the fact that there are STILL dipshits who either deny he did anything wrong, or are still willing to work with him when he's out.

But have you ever seen them at a McDonalds?
Actually, yes. Before our downtown became a riot-vandalized wasteland, there was a McDs in the business district that was always busy. I had seen them there on at least a couple of occasions, and now that you mention it, you're right, they tended to groups of the same sort of tard, although sometimes the type varied a little. I imagine this was lunch after some sort of field trip to an attraction downtown. That store was pretty basic, just a counter to order and a seating area.

It's now closed, boarded up and every couple of weeks someone paints over the graffiti. I'm pretty sure the combination of it being pretty close to the epicenter of the riots/protests, Covid emptying downtown (starting to come back a bit), staffing issues due to Covid and the amount of crap involving persons with no permanent residence took its toll.

This could be a viable scenario after Barb dies as well.

It's about the only option that will keep him off the streets.

For a while, at least.

I'm guessing there wasn't a playground. Also if it was a regular thing for them, they'd probably already been trained how to behave. They probably had top notch wranglers, too.

Every tard is a special and unique snowflake, but grouping them together by class minimizes the variety of issues their handlers have to deal with. I used to regularly see a group at the local grocery store, more than half of which were on supplementary oxygen. I don't think they were retarded, technically, but clearly they needed constant assistance. Grouping them together minimizes the amount and type of equipment that needs to be hauled with them.

I imagine this was lunch after some sort of field trip to an attraction downtown.

Or possibly it was a regular reward after the weekly trip to the pharmacy or grocers or doctor or whatever. Some conditions require at least two handlers per group, so if one group home resident has an appointment, everyone has to go. It's cheaper taking everyone on every trip than hiring enough extra staff to watch over two groups.

This isn't a recent thing. That city's been going to hell for decades. It's just an accelerating process.

I don’t think that Chris can set up the tugboat himself again, I believe Bob had done the heavy lifting on that.

The tugboat stays set up, he doesn't have to reapply, just get enough information together to show that he's not in jail post-conviction, or a government mental health facility (i.e. his release papers). Most of the frustration comes from dealing with the phone calls, waiting on hold, showing up at the SSA office, etc. It doesn't require Bob's "brain work", just that Chris manage to find it in himself to deal with the annoyance.

Getting back any back pay wrongly suspended would be a bit more complicated and I'm pretty sure Chris is too stupid to figure it out, so he'd need help.

I remember how nice your downtown was before they let it go to shit. It was a beautiful, livable place that I would have loved to call home (the sprawly outer areas built in the 1950s-1980s not so much).

So tomorrow, on the remote off chance that I see cartoon and video game characters walking the streets, I should not be too alarmed?

You should only be alarmed if you're in the toxic minority, in which case you will burn in the flames of Chris' vengeance.

No, fuck that, you should absolutely be alarmed because that means you live in a universe where Chris is your God.

I’m getting nauseous thinking that we are a cunt hair away from possibly the worst saga to ever dawn in Christory if he’s fully released.

The (even more) emboldened, delusional, and enabled fuckface saga or some shit like that.

Surely those around him wouldn't enable nor assist him, right?

Something tells me Chris can't use his infamy in his favor at this point. Right? I'm begging.
There are apparently some people who cannot wait to keep him going. The ride never ends.

Kengle and Helena at the minimum if I recall correctly. Some shit about a "sonichu base" from a fairly recent "letter".

There are many more, no doubt about it.

I don’t think that the tugboat has back pay, and he doesn’t have the resources to sue Barb if she has been stealing it. And there’s no way he would be able to get it back, that money’s been spent.

I don't think Barb "steals" the Tugboat. Barb and Bob were set up as the designated guardian Tard Wranglers. The money goes directly to them and into their accounts. This would not change unless somebody filed to change it.

Unless Barb transferred Chris' money to his account, she might as well used a portion or all of it to either pay off her credit card debt or the house. Chris won't be happy about that.

I honestly don't thin Barb is in charge of her own finances at this point.
How functional even is Barb at this point? From all the footage I've seen of her she seems to only react to things, and even then barely.
Even like a year or two ago, the things that Chris said his mother did are impossible to imagine and I can only assume it got worse.

And that would be legal and allowable. The money is to help cover things like housing and living expenses. It's not the Tard's money.
