Ftfyhonestly, Seth Rogen *existing* is more offensive than Chris Pratt voicing Mario
sounds like it could be fun
Supposed leaks about the Mario movie from test audiences
-Art style is similar to Hotel Transylvania but with Mario
-Humor has puns, meta stuff about being from a game series. No dabbing. No fart jokes. Not like Minion.
-Mario and Luigi have slight redesign, start movie off with dusty clothes, muted color schemes.
-They switch to iconic outfits during the movie. They have BROOKLYN ACCENTS.
-DK Jr., Paulina, Toadsworth are said to appear. Daisy is named dropped. Female toads present, none named "Toadette". Foreman Spike is not a villain character, but is a greedy, bossy character.
- Goombas, Koopas, Hammer Bros, Ninjis, Bullet Bills, Bonzai Bills, Lakitus, Fuzzies are enemies in the film.
-Film opens with Charles Martinet narrating various jobs Mario has had before he starts working for the wrecking crew.
-He fights Donkey Kong in the "real world" (still animated).
-Mario is famous from this, when he hears about monkeys and turtles fighting he goes into sewer to investigate.
-Mario meets an older "Cranky" Donkey Kong. Mario cannot communicate because he doesn't speak monkey.
-They end up falling through a pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom.
-There are musical numbers akin to a Disney film. First song is a Bowser song detailing his backstory and desire to take over the Mushroom Kingdom.
-He kidnaps Peach and flees in his ship. Mario and Captain Toad pursue him.
-There is a song all about plumbing.
-Luigi follows Mario into the Mushroom Kingdom and meets Yoshi.
-Bowser beats Mario and throws him off the ship, he reunites with Luigi.
-They get their iconic costumes and head for Bowsers Castle.
-They fight 3 Bowser clones that when defeated turn into some gross indescribable enemy.
-Kamek gives Bowser a mushroom that makes him grow. He chases Mario and Luigi through a pipe maze where they go through various locations (desert, ocean, forest, clouds, etc.). This is the only part of the movie where Fire Flowers and Stars make an appearance.
-Yoshi and Kamek "have history" and fight.
-Bowser is defeated when he is tricked into going into a pipe that drops him into a lava pit.
-Mario decides to open a plumbing business in the Mushroom Kingdom. Post credit scene is Dry Bowser emerging from the lava.
The leaker apparently compared it to the Lego movie.
I think this is fake with how much of it seems to take stuff from the old cartoons from the late 80's/early 90's. It honestly sounds like MovieBob fanfiction, but if it was true oh boy would it be hilarious.
The fucking dick figures guy is a movie story head artist guy who was also an executive producer for a fucking lego movie spinoff? what the fuck? I'm feeling that berenstein ass shit right now.
I feel like a big upcoming box-office flop as bad as Ghostbusters 2016.
Shit, even the Jim Carrey Grinch movie is more kino than Illumination's movie will ever be. The only thing that I remember about Illumination's version is how people meme'd this like hell.Remember that Grinch movie Illumination made? Neither do I.
Only because of the fake Smash leak.Remember that Grinch movie Illumination made? Neither do I.
This guy is the head of story for this movie...
Somebody needs to make a soyjak edit of this. Please do it somebody.

You've done god's work. Thank you kindly.
I never got the hate for the Jim Carey Grinch. I think he did a better job than what Mike Myers "attempted" to do with Cat In The Hat. Even though the Grinch is an asshole, he comes off like-able due to his sarcasm.Shit, even the Jim Carrey Grinch movie is more kino than Illumination's movie will ever be.
I'd say the Mike Myers Cat in the Hat movie is a guilty pleasure to me. It's bad, but it has a lot of hilarious moments and it's visually appealing, even in today's standards. But yea, the Jim Carrey Grinch felt more ambitious, as he felt more animated, especially expression-wise. And speaking of Dr. Seuss/Jim Carrey collab, Blue Sky's own Horton movie was also a gem. It has also given a pretty bum rep when it came out, but I personally loved it and honestly, it's the only computer animated film that visually captured the Seuss magic unlike whatever Illumination has done with its two efforts.I never got the hate for the Jim Carey Grinch. I think he did a better job than what Mike Myers "attempted" to do with Cat In The Hat. Even though the Grinch is an asshole, he comes off like-able due to his sarcasm.
Grinch is a legit well made film and I'm tired of pretending it isn't. The concept is immensely retarded, but once you get past that you have a good Christmas flick.I never got the hate for the Jim Carey Grinch.
