...or more worryingly they are legit completely in denial about everything as they are desperately trying to duct tape everything back to stable.
Hooo boy do I have news for you....

Word from my colleagues across the aisle is that they are screaming at their employers to take it seriously and said employers-sincerely believe- the economy is going to bounce right back.

More like there's a live grenade in the room, everyone's got a string attached to the pin, but nobody wants to move until they're certain they'll be the first ones out the door. And said pin is ever so slowly wiggling its way out, and nobody is willing to let anyone else shove the pin back in because that would mean they get to control the grenade. So everyone just stands there waiting to die.
That is an excellent way of putting it.

how?
with what jobs?
with what production?
I DON'T KNOW EITHER!

Nor do my colleagues!

As far as any of us can see a -lot- of the Democrat politicians up to and including members of the federal House and Senate have just skipped town on reality and are ignoring even the people they pay to tell them shit!

This is a super weird recession in that there are so many mass vacancies. minor pl but my firm has had an open position for months that they can't fill. I feel like the jobs are out there but they're fairly low comp for the potential applicants with the requisite skill set

how many years of experience and level of education?
if it has those, now take all those vacancies into account

not gonna get too detailed, but its an attorney position with a few years out of law school. The legal market has plenty of openings, bit not too many people with desired qualifications wanted to lateral.

Do these places that have vacancies require the vax? There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the mass layoffs at my work but I've been wondering if getting the vax played a role i.e. I'm pure blood and remain, maybe they see insurance rates going up in the not so distant future and canned the vaxxies. Anyway, companies still requiring the shot should reassess.

I would say, on the whole, it gets a lot more simple than that.

The writing is on the wall, and the African American demographics are slipping hard. Replacement Theory is true, but not in the way it's touted. Hispanic populations are growing and black populations are shrinking across the country.

They're being accelerated toward their own demise while the Left appeals to the urbanite Laptop Class, and attempts to astroturf their views onto Hispanics.
A semi-hard disagree on this, for the simple fact that many of our Basketball-American friends can't be bothered to actually fill out a census form.
My personal theory is that black populations are undercounted, but not by much. They're still BTFO by hispanics overall. Apparently, border-hopping has its perks.

Sweet Virgin Mary, we're so fucked.

I entered the job market during/post college in 2007/2008 and what I am seeing is a similarity without the mass layoffs. A bulk of the jobs are requiring too many bullet points for fresh meat to reach, but not enough incentive for people to swap jobs that meet the criteria. When the layoffs start coming, and they will, you will have fresh meat competing with people with masters degree's and 15 years experience for seemingly entry level jobs like I did.

It's sad that another generation will have to be beaten to death with disillusion and will usher in a millennial-esq apathy with zoomers. Shit sucks, oh well. Smoke 'em if you got 'em.
