FUCKING. THIS. I literally said the exact same thing @KylesDickIsOut said earlier, and yet I got bombarded with rainbows and "NU-UH, THE SENATE'S GONNA CUCK BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE". This is why the right keeps losing: because you guys keep believing the left saying you will. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. And the times we DO win (see: the RvW smackdown and the 2A SC ruling in June, and Trump's Presidency), it's like they don't exist. I'm tired of all of you doomposting faggots. THEY. ARE. NOT. INFALLIBLE. LOSING. IS. NOT. INEVITABLE. STOP. TAKING. THE. FUCKING. BLACK. PILL.
I understand people not wanting to be Polyanna. But the broad consensus across the aisles is that it's doomed in the Senate. If the GOP were going to cuck on an AWB, they would have done it when they passed the Cornyn-Murphy bill.

The right keeps losing because the party is stacked with people like Mitt Romney and Ted Cruz: rock ribbed conservative twitter warriors who will do nothing but harrumph while the Democrats run amok.
Good thing there's a growing populist wing that's literally the exact opposite of those RINO faggots. A wing which has a non-zero chance of making up a pretty good portion of the party by the end of this year. Holy shit, you guys really ARE allergic to winning.

It was a mistake sparing the Mormons.

The right keeps losing because of people like you. Do something about it.

Considering tons of people are hooked on food app delivery I don't see those going away anytime soon.
If you’re operating in a techie area where the average salary is is in the 6 figures, your business should be reasonably safe, but a lot of people are going to be tightening their wallets, and cheap luxuries like Netflix and Uber Eats are gonna be the first to go.

What exactly does HR1808 do? Anyone have a primer?
The cliffnotes is it basically bans all semi automatic rifles with a detachable magazine, it bans all semi auto handguns with a mag over 15 rounds, and it also bans semi auto shotguns with a detachable magazine like the Saiga. It doesn't have a hope in hell of passing the Senate, and if by some miracle they find 10 Republicans to commit political suicide 3 months from an election, then the Supreme Court would toss it as the Heller case ruled the 2A protects guns in common usage at the time, AR15s and semi autos are extremely common.

The next problem then to watch for is Brandon going for a total ban on imports - guns, parts, and ammunition. Because unfortunately there's not any legal precedent or protection at all saying that American's have a right to imported goods.

I mean I don’t have the data or anything, but something tells me that the country with the loosest gun laws in the free world probably isn’t importing most of our guns from countries where guns are shunned.

There's a ton of imports. Sig, Glock, Beretta, CZ, H&K, Taurus, etc.

ETA: found this one and kek'd.

how?
with what jobs?
with what production?
how many years of experience and level of education?
if it has those, now take all those vacancies into account
Yeah I'm def suspicious that a chunk of these job openings are some sort of scam. Like if they claim on paper they're offering jobs but can't fill them they get a tax incentive or some shit.
A year or so back needed a part time thing, car wash near me the owner already knew me as a hard worker from my current gig, but then when I applied for assistant wash monkey like he's always going on about needed more of he's like "well, yeah uhh" like wtf it's hosing down a fucking car.
I think it's all about getting kickbacks and getting those delicious foreign workers. 'See, we're posting jobs no americans can fill out! We have to import people at a fraction of the cost to do these critical jobs, there's no way we can train native citizens!'

Its a huge market. A lot of the guns people want just aren't domestically produced, for myriad reasons. In particular, cold war and older era surplus is still being imported regularly from African countries of all things, where it had a habit of showing up en mass as military aid when the greater powers were in favor of the most recent warlords. Nobody in the 70's wanted 50,000 Mauser bolt action rifles that they'd held onto forever, but it was a damned fine gun for a country that had no domestic arms production.

I don't know if it's the same thing, but in tech, you can't get approval for a H1B visa serf from Streetshitter-land or the Bugman hives of China without "trying to fill the job in America first." So they'll post some inane shit like "Must have 25 years experience with Windows 11, two Doctorates, and a MCSE and CCNA. Starting Wage: $7.50" so they can say "welp, guess Americans just lack work ethic, time to hire a pajeet slave caste drone."
