Not a bad pick at all, Andromon has always been a favorite of mine as well. Though I think I'd have to pick Lunamon or Keramon, mainly because the Digimon Movie and DS: Dusk were the only media of Digimon I dealt with for years. I'm finally starting to get back into it with the Vital Bracelet though, wish there was a Lunamon Dim but one can certainly hope for the future of the device. We're only just getting Tamers in a non-Gachapon release, and we've barely covered any of Adventure 01/02.

If we're talking favorite digimon line, I'm always torn between the guilamon family and the dracmon line.

I can't decide my favorite Digimon design since there's so many great ones.
But I do want the sistermons to all die in the creatively bankrupt fire for being jarring additions to the franchise.

The sistermons look like Angewomon and Ladydevimon made in today’s anime market.
Digimon designs definitely thrived in the 90’s gross-out humor era, but it hasn’t been hit as hard regarding anime trends as, say, Pokémon.

I really like Digimon. It was a big part of my childhood. Adventure, Adventure 02 and Tamers were great. I kind of stopped caring after that. Jesuotaku actually did a pretty good retrospective of Adventure, Adventure 02 and some of Tamers, but gave up and deleted it all before trooning out. My favorite characters are Mimi, Takeru/T.K. and Beelzemon.

Oh. So it's out.
This thing took so long to come out that I just can't bring myself to be excited about it anymore. I'll just wait for the reviews/general consensus to come out before I decide if I want to give it a shot.

I lost enthusiasm when it was being described as a visual novel. I didn't enjoy Cyber Sleuth's gameplay but I had hopes it would be improved with this game only to find it it was going to have a lot less of it. :/

Cyber Sleuth was already a turn in the wrong direction since they removed the highly autistic and incredibly fun Jogress system from previous Story titles. At least they fixed the stats and put a limit on raising them, grinding to 999 was a bitch.
As for Survive, personally I’m tentatively excited since I enjoy both visual novels and tactical rpgs. I also love the sound of your choices having a real impact on the character’s stories, but we have to see how the dev hell has affected it and if Bandai can give us a good translation.

It's kinda sad but understandable that the digivolutions in the anime series are "logical" when it doesn't make sense in the games. But of course on the other hand all these weird digivolutions would just confuse the viewers.

User consensus on Steam is that it's pretty good (at least early on) once you get past the technical issues. The top reviews say that it's a visual novel first and a tactical RPG second and it might take a little bit to get to the first real fight.

I bought Survive for Switch. So far, I'm having fun. As someone who barely plays visual novels, it's a pretty chill, cinematic experience. I appreciate the spooky horror angle as well.
Apparently Dorumon (my fave) isn't in the game and that sucks. But oh well. I got Guilmon so that's good enough.
